You do realise these are not cisterns. A cistern is a water storage tank. Considering these are in cold climates, I doubt you’d be transporting water, it would freeze 😂

Can’t believe some bright spark hasn’t made a horror film depicting the events post mutiny on Pitcairn. It has all the ingredients. It’s also a testament to British tenacity back then that they sailed around the world in a wooden boat to serve justice on a handful of men. Very different today.

Simply it is heated with electricity, the form has nothing to do with whistanding cold.. it was simply available in abundance in the USSR and very easy to transport

Cistern means “water storage device” below or above ground, if it stores liquid, it’s a cistern.

Not a great script. Lots of blanketing statements suggesting that all the rotting metal tanks of the world have interior wood paneling and heated floors. Probably not the case. I was watching for a reason this shape would withstand the elements best, but, eh, yeah...
