Surely Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. You will inherit half of what your wives leave if they are childless. But if you have children, then your wives will receive one-eighth of your estate-after the fulfilment of bequests and debts. And if a man or a woman leaves neither parents nor children but only a brother or a sister ˹from their mother’s side˺, they will each inherit one-sixth, but if they are more than one, they ˹all˺ will share one-third of the estate-after the fulfilment of bequests and debts without harm ˹to the heirs˺. ˹This is˺ a commandment from Allah. And Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing. Now, let's get to the main point. Let's say a person died leaving 3 daughters, a wife, and both his parents. Let's say his inheritance value is 240,000. According to above mentioned two Qur'anic verses, daughters would get two-third, parents one-third, and wife one-eigth of the inheritance. Daughters' share = 2/3*240,000 = 160,000 Parents' share = 1/3*240,000 = 80,000 Wife's share = 1/8*240,000 = 30,000 Add them up: 160,000 + 80,000 + 30,000 = 270,000 , which means their shares add upto more than the full value of inheritance. So, the all-knowing Allah made a basic mathematical error. Best thing about this mistake is that Muslim apologists can't play their reinterpretation game as they do with Scientific mistakes in the Qur'an. They justify the inheritance problem by claiming that Sahabas had resolved the issue by the Awl method or say that there are situations where some amount of total inheritance remains even after the distribution like in the case of only 3 daughters and no other family members. But they either fail to understand or deliberately ignore something very important: 1. If some amount remains even after distribution that is not a problem here because you are still able to distribute the shares as prescribed by Allah. But when prescribed shares add upto more than the inheritance value, how can one follow Allah's method? 2. Qur'an is not infallible, which means the author was not perfect or all-knowing. 3. That it required the intervention of humans to resolve the issue. There are so many other errors in Islam. For example: Saying that Abraham was a Muslim. You see, just because it says so in the Qur'an, it does not mean that it is true. I could claim that the sky is red, but it would still be blue! Let me explain. There isn't a single piece of the Quran that refers to God as Yahweh. It says that God's name was always Allah. Which is a big mistake. When God revealed himself to the first prophets, he never referred himself as Allah, but rather as Yahweh. Allah is just the Arabic name for God. In a some way you could call Abraham a Muslim (since that means submission to God), but that term comes from Muslims themselves. I could invent a belief system that says that all religions are under the umbrella of my invented religion, but that would not mean that all religious people would follow my religion. Speaking of Christ... The crucifixion is an undeniable fact. 99% of historians (Atheist and Theist) agree on this. It wasn’t until I discovered Vedanta in my late 20’s that I found my spiritual home. I became a devotee of Sri Ramakrishna and Sri Krishna. My guru had been initiated by one of Ramakrishna’s disciples. I spent a year as a monk of the Ramakrishna Order of India. That, unfortunately, didn’t work out, but I have maintained my Hindu faith as a householder (I’m now 67). I love Vedanta.

@@generaljg4373 I dare you to present what those "horrible" verses supposedly say. There are disgusting things in the Bible, yes. 2 Samuel Chapter 13 contains both rape, incest, and murder. But here's the thing. It's not codified as 'righteous' behavior like in Surah 65:4. Rather, it is used to show the depravity that can exist within fallen mankind, and it is condemned. You quran actually calls sexual perversion lawful and holy in allah's sight.
