The saddest part of berserk is the death of kentaro miura nobody can continue berserk on his level or remake it as an anime with the same feel the manga gives.

I still can't get over with what happened to Casca during the Eclipse,I feel a lot more bad about it as I haven't seen the series being finished 😕

Most disturbing moments in Berserk: the whole thing. Literally the entire manga. Lol in all seriousness tho I pretty much agree with this list. The only thing I'd add tho somewhere near the top is Wyald. Literally anything and everything to do with Wyald. When he rapes and pillages the village and puts the women and children on spikes to intimidate Guts and Co. was as disturbing for me as the troll babies. And the Ganishka...um... human behelit...thing? Artificial apostle creator...thing? Created out of...sown together apostles and women with black magic? Idek wtf it is my brain's blocked most of it out I just remember going "WHAT THE FUCK" when I read that. Partly because it was so gross but partly because I was just legit confused and didn't know wtf I was looking at. Ah, Berserk. Gotta love it.

I do admit that some of the more mature themes/scenes in Berserk are not handled as well as they could/should. Take the troll chapter for example: Like, I'm okay with the concept of monsters using humans to procreate. It does create a good sense of what kind of a threat they are. But the timing of the trolls in the story, and how it's handled... I wouldn't say it's just merely "titilating" (a.k.a. worst kind of fetishposting), but it does tip the scale into "poor taste". I think it could've been better if it was setup a lot more. Like showing trolls before, making it a mystery why they can only find the corpses of men after troll attacks, etc. It would've created this mystery around them, that you know something bad is going on. You might even worry the worst... Only for to be proven right. As for the depiction, eh... It's not great. I don't think they should've "censored" it either as it's not a book for kids lmao. It's just "how" the trolls do it that feels bit too... "Casual"? Maybe it's the different position, I dunno, it just feels like a hentai reel more than anything. Which again, goes into "poor taste" territory. Maybe you could even merely allude to what had happened, like showing the aftermath. I think it would've been more impactful if Gut had saved 1 person, taken her out only for that "exploding baby" happen right after they'd think the threat was over. Now THAT would've been peak Berserk!
