3:21 I still think the deed of fucking the female apostle was saved with one word in the conviction arc. Where godo explains that guts put himself down a (FANTASY) on killing every apostle alive , bearly sleeps andin the lowest point of his life and that's saying something

Yeah I definitely think it’s explained but I understand why some people would feel like he’s a bit out of character this arc. Guts definitely lost his way and needed others to get him back to a better place

Just came from your chrollo video, and between that one and this, I can say you def deserve more subscribers, keep this up and I’m sure they numbers and success will come! Also- lil edit, adding hashtags in your vid’s description will help out loads in the vids showing up in more peoples recommended and when they search up certain terms or phrases, just a tip I thought might be helpful

Definitely understand that viewpoint. I enjoy his comedic relief moments, but I think his more meaningful moments from the earlier arcs were sort of inherited by the other members of Guts’ party (e.g. Schierke and Casca steer Guts away from his inner demon). I don’t have a problem with Puck personally, but his importance to the plot noticeably decreased after the Lost Children chapter

Slowly reading through Berserk myself as the deluxe editions drop and it’s amazing. Honestly it is GOAT manga and if a MAPPA or a Studio IG get their hands on this bad boy and make an actually beautiful adaptation it would be a top tier anime too hands down. Berserk is so underrated in the global zeitgeist.

Eh. I don’t think Mappa would do it right. They’ve never done anything as dark as Berserk, and they use too much 3D. It takes the weight away from a lot of the fighting. JJK is great, but look what they did to Attack on Titan. Season 3 animation was insane, then as soon as Mappa touched it, it fell apart. The titans have no weight, the ODM movement and fighting is janky, the character details are flat and washed out. I really don’t think they could handle Berserk’s insane amount of detail, and the 3D would ruin every big monster Guts fights.

I honestly thought the art was as good as it would get in BS. I got my brains blown out during the eclipse though man. Real nightmare fuel

Yeah the art gets insane by the end of the Golden Age. I have a copy of volume 34 (end of Millenium Empire arc) and seeing that art in print is an incredible experience

@@Kuro4 Oh lord the art during the God Ganishka fight or whatever is just OUTRAGEOUS. That and the reveal of Fantasia is just...holy hell. All of those panels belong in a museum. I couldn't believe wtf I was looking at.
