That would be great for a one-off story like Death Troopers. During a battle, someone discovers an ancient Sith tomb with a long-dead technobeas. They contract the nano-plague and both the Republic and Separatist forces have to work together to stop it from spreading.

Well there's multiple galaxy's and universes in existence. So it could fit in the same world. The "borg" migrated out of this galaxy and into the other somehow but not the Jedi or sith. Probably because they consider travel in the unknown regions as impossible.

Wouldn't a technobeast Jedi be able to touch the force? Since the cybernetics are technically a natural extension of one's body instead of an artificial prosthetic like normal cyborgs? I mean if there is a literal rock Jedi. Then shouldn't a naturally born mechanical being be able to use the force?

Good question. My guess is that it would be determined by the midichlorians. Remember, Darth Plagues altered some into maxichlorians. Which he couldn’t really do much with other than trap himself within them.

I'm just about to finish the Darth Bane trilogy and the techno beasts were one of my favorite parts of Bane's story. I'm actually bummed that I am about to finish the trilogy. It's amazing!

Reminds me a little of a relatively lightweight version of Marvel's techno-organic virus - most usually seen in the form of Cable's cyborg arm. This is less a slam on how dangerous the techno-beasts are, more an observation on how utterly terrifying the T-O vrius is.

I think there is good idea mix the Force with technology but it should be done with great care for it is like mixing science with magic it might be dangerous but it be done. Ironically it is the lightsaber was the first step but both the Jedi and the Sith as a whole in a way stopped right

The problem is that this just feels like a double standard. I mean the Jedi consider droids abominations. Yet Geode a literal rock is just fine. While they made a scene about the Iron knights which are force using rocks that used power suits to move around. What we need is basic consistent rules of narrative.

a big thing star wars has been sorely lacking which lucas was great at was introducing visually striking characters that really struck a chord with the audience..maul,vader,ventress, grievous ext. I'd love to see one of the techno cenobite looking monstrosities in live action..its a great new direction to introduce a a dark force sorcerer who augments a apprentice in cybernetic that may not even serve any function but to cause them constant discomfort and pain in order to draw out dark force potential and strength!

I like to think that the techno beast Jedi could still be as powerful in the force before he got cyborgized. I believe this because the cybernetics were made of sith sorcery. Since the cybernetics weren’t just normal parts. Couldn’t the force still flow properly or even stronger in said force created cybernetics.

I feel like "knowledge of the force" can be interpreted in many different ways. So i feel like just like any world Jedi have generations that act differently than others. So if you use your "knowledge of the force" to adapt technology to aid the light. How would that be different than using your "knowledge of the force" to do anything else? I can't wait for someone to take over Star Wars and claim everything conceived during Darth kk's run was just a bad indigestion induced nightmare. Anyone with just a little bit of talent and creativity, traits kk lacks, and a genuine love for the IP could make Star Wars not suck again. Side note I of course know Darzu was in Darth Bane's novel. This is a really interesting video and a fascinating ability, though the way you pronounce Mechu-deru makes my ears bleed. Mechu is said with a hard "ch" as in mechanical/mechanized, etc. Should be obvious considering it's literally the word "mech" with a u on the end.
