The Sith aren‘t the only biggest threats, in Legends you had the Yuu Zhaan Vong, Abeloth and beings like the Mngal Mngal in the unknown regions, the letter though wasn‘t known to have become a threat to the known galaxy and lore, although it had the potential, but it was actively fought by the Chiss. These are some that I can recall from the top of my mind, but there were even more dangers comparable at the times of the Sith. Long before the Sith became a sect and moved out of Korriban, there was the Rakatan Infinite Empire.

"Sith alchemy" is derivative of force alchemy that the Je'dai did. And they saw absolutely nothing wrong with using the force to create grotesque creatures of flesh and bone to prove their mastery of the force. Not only did they see nothing wrong with it, they genuinely held no malice in doing it, which is altogether even scarier if you think about it. Like, a homicidal killer is evil. But an otherwise good person who just hits you with their car and reacts the same way you would if someone said "you just stepped on an ant." Is kinda worse. Because the latter would drive off and not give it a second thought. Not out of malice or hatred, but because it genuinely meant nothing to them.

Yet oddly enough, in the Extended Universe there is an oddball among the Sith, Darth Vectivus. Who was a businessman before becoming a Sith Lord. He only studied the Dark Side, because it was affecting his mining business on an asteroid that appeared to be a Force Nexus for the Dark Side and it was having a negative impact on his employees. Darth Vectivus' self-discipline and preexisting code of ethics allowed him to remain fair and balanced without succumbing to the lure of power which plagued many of the Sith Lords who preceded him. He eventually returned to the mine and maintained a plentiful existence in the company of friends and loved ones alike. These good guys Sith are very rare, but a few existed and most of the time they were more align to the Light Side, then the Dark Side, but only Darth Vectivus was purely aligned to the Dark Side and yet remain rather stable.

Heh, i had a campaign where we also encountered such bio-engineered Jedi-hunter Sith beasts in a hidden temple. Quite formidable opponents, but we made short work of them nonetheless.Were more of a kind of Sith-Xenomorphs/Genestealers than cyborgs though.

Guess I have to fight more Necrons on the Mechanicus video game then.

They strike me as more similar to a zombie or ghoul plague, but on a galactic scale with a Sauron-like will guiding them guiding and cyborg powers for the infected.
