Let’s talk about how to get rid of histamines naturally.
Histamines are developed when you encounter something you’re allergic to, during an infection, or after an injury. Histamines are also in our food supply.
Symptoms of histamines can include:
• Mucus
• Sneezing
• Runny nose
• Itchy eyes
• Watery eyes
• Red eyes
Certain organs, like your liver and kidneys, have enzymes that help you break down histamines. It’s important to support your liver and kidneys to help get rid of histamines.
The best remedies for dealing with histamines are:
1. Grass-fed beef kidney extract
2. Grass-fed beef liver extract
3. Milk thistle
It’s also important to avoid consuming things high in histamines, including fermented foods and drinks.

I've found that cutting out sugar from my diet and increasing Vitamin C intake as well as Vitamin B5 has helped with allergies a lot.

The first pathway getting rid of histamine is supported by vitamin B5 but that pathway is easily blocked by stress, quercetine and other things. Vitamin C also is part of another pathway's cofactor alongside some others like zinc and.... quercetine. I was using quercetine a lot before and found out about B5 and that being the one cofactor to support the easiest way to transform histamine. Also methylation is a big one in this. I recently found out that nitric oxide is helpful. I tried it out by taking ashwagandha and alongside quite a lot of other supplements I never got rid of my stuffed nose. There are so many more factors to this. The immune system and the way it reacts. Therefore also vitamin D, C and A help. Also lowering stress and making sure hormone levels are ok. DHEA and pregnenolone can help. Also boron helps because it supports hormones and makes DHEA, vitamin D (also a hormone) and free testosterone.

Wow Dr. Berg... This is the first time I heard about Histamines in this way, I have to say that the foods you recommend are largely these foods, what are we doing eating these foods? I've suffered from allergies my whole life so of course histamines are discussed and anti-histamines are the solution... perhaps! I used to suffer from allergies from age 4 and I've been through everything medical science had to offer plus some outside places... nothing seemed to work, sometimes things got worse. But in my case after 40+ years suffering allergies I got relief... how? About 15 years ago I made a major lifestyle change started changing the diet, got healthy, found your channel got even more so, and I also went to the gym for fitness, but it wasn't that... it was necessary but not sufficient to fix the allergy problem. It wasn't until I added chiropractic care for back and neck pain, that it has a surprising side-effect that it dramatically quieted down my allergies too, last 10 years has been better than the last 40+ years! Why this is thought to work is that the chiropractic helps the sympathetic nervous system quiet down, is not on high alert that caused it to react, so combined with the healthy diet and not eating those inflammatory foods plus the sugar, etc., it allows the body to rest... I don't know if that's how it really works, but I'm so happy about it, I wished I had found this combo years ago! I really suffered horribly from allergies and I got sinus headaches several times a week it was a quality of life issue for me... Now they are all GONE!

You want to avoid all nightshades while recovering from a Histamine/Mast cell reaction. DHEA, Probiotics, B6/B12, Stevia, holy basil, mint, garlic, stinging nettle and arugula all help. Eating foods that are natural histamine blockers helps too. Those that aren’t allergic to pork can take DAO supplements. Leaky gut contributes to some HIT (histamine intolerance).

I am severely sensitive to the touch of stinging nettle on my skin, so I would be very afraid of ingesting it as a tea or pill, or in any form for that matter! As an example, I had some brush across one finger, and the pain lasted for 2 weeks. It was like nothing I’ve felt before or since. It was a big shock.

Dr. Burg Your the best doctor out there I really don't listen to anyone else other than my OBGYN I even watched your video on hysterectomies I really wish I wouldn't had mine done but, I still have my ovaries tho! I have a important question I just stopped taking my Zyrtec I've been taking for 29 years or so, I would like to naturally make my allergies go away I'm allergic to everything grass, hay, ragweed, some trees, feathers, most animal hair, walnuts, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, & many more I can eat peanuts, almonds & pecans, coconuts only. Would I be able to take milk thistle in powder form I just ordered 4 pounds ? I have read that if your allergic to ragweed you could be allergic to milk thistle but your video makes more sense & has me thinking I wouldn't be allergic to it, I do have a epi pen for my nut allergies and Benadryl I also have a auto immune disorder called Ectodermal Dysplasia. I really wish you could be my Doctor :) The more research I do along with watching your videos the better my health has been! Thank you for all you do and sharing your wisdom!

Recently I have suffered from what I thought was severe perfume allergies, turns out it’s not an allergy at all! I found out I have MCS Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, it’s horrible, I can’t use or be around anything that has smells or chemicals, like detergents, soaps, shampoo’s, perfume, etc. It so hard to do daily life things and most of all doing things with my kids, almost feels like a disability, I wish it to no one. Would you happen to have any advice that could help with MCS, I have started eating mainly keto lifestyle and has helped with my regular allergies. Any suggestions I will try and would help, thank you for what you do❤️

Hi Dr. Berg. I'm severely allergic to grass, a 6 on the allergy scale. I ended up in the er from milk thistle so that's a hard no, but I'm curious about the grass fed supplements and whether you think they'd be safe.
@rvmommabear
@rvmommabear Жыл бұрын
Hi Jessica, hope this is helpful because I used to end up in the ER a LOT from the age of 16 to 33 until my Dr broke western medicine protocol and actually told me something natural that really worked! It has 3 parts. The first two are accute treatment and the last is a cure. I took athsma and allergy meds after starting with bad allergies at 12 years old. I had 3 different inhalers, prednisone steroid frequently, and a pill called Singular as well as trying allergy medication like Claritin that didn't do anything, zyrtec that made me a zombie, Allegra that dried my mouth out OMG! and even with all of those prescriptions I was still ending up in the ER every spring and fall, I was intubated 3 times. So, I ended up developing a mitochondrial disorder/disfunction at 30 years old and that led to my allergies going into hyper drive but along with that came a new incredible sensitivity to medications that had previously been well tolerated. If I took them after 30, I had major heart issues and it became dangerous. Now, I grew up in Alaska with the snow on the ground for 6 to 7 months out of the year. At the beginning of the first winter when my drug sensitivity started, I went to my Dr and asked him, honestly scared, what the heck was I going to do when spring came around and I no longer could take any of the many life saving medications I had existed on for almost 20 years?! He sat me down and told me something that just sounded like pure fiction. Or witchcraft lol. He told me to go buy a BIG jar from AKHoneyMan of his raw, unheated, unstrained wild honey and take a tablespoon a day. It sounded just stupid at first and I know I looked at the man like he was smoking something. I have a very logical, science and proof based brain. Well, he explained that the bees have hairy legs that get sticky as they visit the flowers. As they fly around, the air that passes over their sticky hairy legs catches dust, mold spores, tree and grass pollen etc and then all those tiny particles end up in the honey. There is a special antihistamine in honey as well. So when you eat a tablespoon of local honey you end up getting an allergy drug along with a tiny inoculation of the stuff you are allergic too. If you start eating honey during allergy season you are just going to flare up even worse! Because your body is already on alert and pissed off at those particles in any amount, however if you start taking the honey in the off season and do it for 6 months straight a tablespoon a day, it will slowly train your body to not be pissed off at those triggers anymore and cure the allergy! OK, so, for the acute treatment which does not in any way replace medication prescribed by a Dr! This should not be relied on for emergency treatment but rather as a way to help prevent emergencies from breaking out. You eat the skin on half of an organic "Red Delicious" apple or 1/4 cup of raw watercress but that is harder to find lol, and half of a raw yellow peach including the skin! The apple peel or watercress contain super high levels of Quercetin which lowers the histamine production in your body. Now, histamine comes out when your body senses an invader. Cells called Mast Cells fill up with histamine like water balloons, race through your body to the spot they are angry with a pop open, dumping out the histamine in a targeted area. Which is what causes the rash, swelling, etc. However the special property in peaches which I can't remember the name of at the moment act exactly like the drug Singular and they thicken the cell walls of those Mast Cells so they can't burst open! They soak up the histamine but then they end up dying off without going boom and you end up with little to no reaction. So as a two part whammy, the Quercetin apple/watercress lowers the histamine production and the peaches keep what little histamine does get made from going boom and causing a localized reaction. However!!! The effect only lasts for about 4 to 5 hours after eating the half apple half peach and it takes about 40 minutes to START working after you eat them. Now, you can also put things into the honey you are taking like a TINY piece of cut grass. And I mean like a one millimeter by one millimeter piece of grass in that tablespoon of honey! Or a millimeter fragment of cat or dog hair etc. Which can result in a major allergic reaction but it can also train your body to not react eventually when you have moderate exposure to your allergens in the future! Good luck and I hope this helps!

I think mine is hay fever, but much worse this year. I started taking a half spoonful of Florida produced palm honey each day. Palms are common in my neighborhood so there is the theory that your local honey will help.. It might be making a difference. Did not have any alcohol at the neighbor's 4th of July party. I only experienced my 3 consecutive hay fever sneezes today after I had half a tall can of watermelon beer. But it could be a reaction to the beer coldness and bubbles. Anyway, I will keep trying. A made a list of Dr. Berg's offending foods.

What is an average poor man supposed to eat if you’re always suffering
@wayneshort3647
@wayneshort3647 3 ай бұрын
You can reintroduce the things one by one for a week at a time and see what makes you suffer. My current diet is Oatmeal, a 100g steak or 100g chicken with either fries or bread or toast. 2-3 eggs, and then at night I eat whatever but very rarely do I eat fruits and veggies. There is a lady that turned 117 years old and she said she also eat a high protein diet and very little fruits and veggies her name is Maria Branyas Morera. If meat is too expensive try sticking with eggs,toast,whitebread,pasta,oatmeal and drinking a lot of water and then you can reintroduce the foods you can manage

@@kamranraja9197I would say to completely STAY AWAY from eating ANY bread/toast, especially white bread or whole grain!! Wheat based foods and grains are the absolute worst things to eat of you think you are experiencing food allergies or intolerances! Also, many people experience allergy or intolerance to eggs. For me, it is the egg whites that are bad, but I can eat the yolks. Also, many people have allergies and intolerance to dairy products for a few different reasons. For some, it’s certain milk proteins, for others, it may be lactose intolerance. Sometimes even with lactose intolerance, eating hard cheese can be ok and not cause problems.

Histamines are developed when you encounter something you’re allergic to, during an infection, or after an injury. Histamines are also in our food supply. Symptoms of histamines can include: • Mucus • Sneezing • Runny nose • Itchy eyes • Watery eyes • Red eyes Certain organs, like your liver and kidneys, have enzymes that help you break down histamines. It’s important to support your liver and kidneys to help get rid of histamines. The best remedies for dealing with histamines are: 1. Grass-fed beef kidney extract 2. Grass-fed beef liver extract 3. Milk thistle It’s also important to avoid consuming things high in histamines, including fermented foods and drinks. Thank you Dr Berg! 😺👍
