This is hard. I showed it and translated it with my mom whom has ALS. I had to move back to her place because there's no family left, 24/7 taking care of her. And "Don't leave me in an old folks home" really f**ked me up (in a good way). Actually she cries to your lyrics, and I won't ever give up on her. Thank you.

I love me all forms of core but I don't know what sets each apart. .... and that Side of Djent.... does that come on a bed of rice, or on a nice kale leaf?

vaccinefraud If you see core after a genre, that genre has been merged with hardcore/hardcore punk basically meaning it sometimes has the shouting and breakdowns that hardcore and beatdown incorporate

I have another problem that arises from that explanation though: when I think of punk I think of The Ramones (absolutely can't stand them except for: I want to be Sedated) so that kind of sullies my idea of what these fusions might be. Do you have a description of 'punk' vs. hardcore punk because I about split my chapped lips grinning when I heard Paramore described as 'punk'. I listen to intense classical music when I want to get excited but then put in some System Divide to calm down. I find that someone else screaming (other than me) is very soothing.

Patrick Jordan Well yeah, Paramore are just pop now really, though I feel they were at first a pop punk band, so technically at one point if you are very lenient? I am definitely not an expert on this but what I do know is that the hardcore in hardcore punk means the music is faster and more aggressive with more breakdowns, more gang chants and harsher vocals! Hardcore punk has summoned so many different fusion genres in itself that I have no idea if anyone will like all of them but metalcore is a very popular one that has spawned from it that incorporates both singing and the screaming and shouting from hardcore with so many different ways of making a song, I find it really interesting!

The last scene when there are the grandma & grandpa in some kind of elderly house, I get the vibe of st junipero. Then the credit roll and I hear the very familiar sound. Black mirror. I just imagine this thing will happen to any members of asian metal band. They will get old and have grandkids. The grandparent will tell story to their grandkids how they love heavy music, the energy, the craziness of tour, etc.

This really advocates for the forgotten elderly who might not like this style, but I imagine some would make an exception for this particular song based on the lyrics alone. It's a song that works on different levels. Great job!

As someone who has taken care of both of my grandparents when no other family wants/wanted to help, let alone still be in their lives, that ending scene is what drives me to keep pushing on and never give up on them. My gram passed a few years back and I don't think I could ever bear to see my grandpa with that same look on his face at the end of the video if no one else was there for him. That feeling of being so absolutely alone has to be one of the worst depressing things out there.

This video is one of the absolute best videos I've ever seen! This actually almost brought me to tears. I lost my grandma two years ago and was left with so much guilt for not being with her enough. All I could think about was her during this video. Our grandparents are not to be taken for granted. If you read this, please go tell your grandparents you love and appreciate them.

Actually,I was surfing through the Internet for CNY songs and I saw this video where it said Malaysians did a heavy metal video for CNY..I was extremely happy coz I was relieved that finally people still do metal music videos ecspecially in Malaysia!I then watched this video at first it was emotional then I heard the granny with growling vocals immediately I was so thrilled and really enjoyed the super cool riffs and as metalhead myself this was more than I could ask for,ecspecially all my favourite Malaysian youtubers collab in this song I was so hyped and really enjoyed it as it was also really funny it turned from death metal to deathcore real quick but as I was enjoying the song,honestly I was not expecting the ending which really was dark and made me sad.This video really have a lot of meanings..As a Malaysian I felt this video..meanwhile awesome job hopefully people will keep metal music alive!!!🤘🤘🤘
