I am honestly really excited to see what Smile 2 brings to the table. The director already said he doesnt want to follow the same beats ad the first one and catch everyone off guard so im interested 🤔

Honestly, Shelby Oaks is what I'm looking forward to most. Winnie The Pooh Blood and Honey 2 is something I'm wanting to see cuz I found the first one so dumb, it's great. So, I'm kinda excited for the sequel lol. I shouldn't be, but I am. I honestly had no idea Melissa Barrera was gonna be in another horror movie this soon, so, I'm looking forward to that. I'm looking forward to Shelby Oaks the most because of the idea of it. Like, from bts and the story of the movie itself, I wanna watch it so bad lol. That and it's stuff like that that's got me inspired to really finally try and get this horror movie idea I've had written and try to make it a reality. It's something I feel is unique and different, the thing I'm writing. Like, I actually feel confident in saying something like that lol. But yea, Shelby Oaks is what I'm most anticipating lol.

Iron Lung could genuinely be regarded as the ceiling breaker for KZfaqrs in movies, it certainly has the plot for it to be.

The two I'm most looking forward to are Smile 2 and Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood & Honey 2. That's a sequel to a movie I loved and one to a movie I hated. Kinda weird it ended up that way.

Im definitely excited for Alien Rommulus. We havent gotten an Alien movie since 2017 and I'm curious on how they'll continue the franchise both quality wise and lore wise.

shelby oaks is such a good story from a filmmaker's perspective. Chris Stuckman was formerly a jehovah witness and he wasn't allowed to view a lot of films because of the strict rules that people really into that form of religion follow. Despite that he loved films and wanted to talk about them with others, which is how he got started on youtube. However, his congregation found out about his channel and they were essentially trying to tell him to stop making content online and treated his passion like a waste of time. But that didn't stop him and eventually he followed his passion to the point of making a film himself. regardless of how that film is in terms of quality, I will support chris and his journey as a filmmaker. He has earned my respect for sure.

I didn't like Winnie the pooh blood and Honey 1 but now that they have a much larger budget I'm really intrigued to see what they can do! Also so happy that Melissa Barrera picked up this movie and is reuniting with radio silence, so awesome!!

3:49 Just want to add a little bit to that but Stephen King did see the film and praised it. Which that kind of gives me a little hope considering that the movie was written and directed by Gary Dauberman who previously co wrote Andy Muschietti's two part adaptation of another Stephen King novel IT and we all have our own feelings about part 2. However I do look forward to see what Dauberman and Producer James Wan bring to Salem's Lot on a visual level. Story wise i'm probably gonna be finding myself comparing it to both the original novel; and Netflix's Midnight Mass (even though Midnight Mass isn't based on Salem's lot but does share some similarities.) Sorry if I'm rambling been reading Stephen King's Holly all day. Good novel but damn is it making me rethink about what I eat.

Plus the fact the previous horror film Dauberman directed from James Wan was the production rushed Annabelle Comes Home; and that was not a great first directorial debut outing in my opinion. Also no offense but I'm actually one of those people who prefers Doctor Sleep over The Shining. Mainly because I find the Shining a bit overrated. That said you wanna talk about a terrible Stephen King movie that came out within the past five years, 2019's Pet Sematary and its 2023 prequel (especially the later); but that's just me.

Maxxxine, Terrifier 3, saw 11 and a quiet place day one are my top 4 most anticipated. Hopefully this years horror slate is better than last year since 2022 was an awesome year for the genre and 2023 was meh. There is definitely some stinkers coming out this year fs but let’s hope it’s mostly positive.
