I guess Tommy Pitera was more Cobra Kai than Miyagi Do. Tommy didn't believe in Mr. Miyagi's philosophy of Karate is only for Self-Defense. He was of the philosophy- "Strike First, Strike Hard and No Mercy." Bad Karma though. I wish you had shown a picture of him.

@@MOONEYDashCam Read his biography. One of the reasons he used Staten island as a burial ground, aswell as those you stated was, it was a bird/wildlife sanctuary so very unlikely to be disturbed and misfortune leading to investigation through discovery of hus victims corpses. Good breakdown. A hard man. What we call in uk a savage.

There's a really good book out there about Tommy "Karate" Pitera called "The Butcher." It's a page-turner, right up there with "The Murder Machine" about the DeMeo crew and "The Ice Man" about Richard Kuklinski (who was also reputed to have murdered hundreds of people, for the DeMeo crew and for other reasons). One thing for certain, if "made" guys are just flat *scared* of a guy, that guy must be a monster...and Pitera was "that guy." Probably still is... Thanks for this video, knew you'd get around to this one soon!
@BurtonRdForever
@BurtonRdForever 3 жыл бұрын
Wouldn't believe a word of what Carlo writes. The Iceman is just pure bullshit, even the mob admitted they'd never heard of Kuklinski!! He said he also whacked Galante? That was Anthony whack-whack Indelicato!! Also, he says he was on the Castellano hit? Load of bullshit too. Sammy G has named all the shooters on that. The mob doesn't pay outside people to murder for them,they do it themselves. Murder Machine is Brilliant! Roy was a bit of a homicidal maniac!!

Again, great job. One of your best tours yet. I’ve got a suggestion for a new episode - the north Bronx, areas like Riverdale, Kingsbridge, and Spuyten Duyvil. Used to live there. Incredible diversity...you can drove for five minutes and pass by a mansion, an enormous tenement, a suburban-type ranch house, and an Irish enclave. Streets wind and disappear into deep woods and then reappear on a dense urban area.

Just a few facts, Tommy lived on Avenue T with his mom dad and sister, Tommy did have a very high-pitched voice, Tommy was also a samurai swords man. Since being locked up Tommy has become quite the artist his sketches are amazing. One more fact- Tommy was always connected didn’t need to go Under anyone’s wing, Tommy has piercing ice cold eyes Just imagine sitting across from that at every Sunday dinner like I did.

“He buried the heads in different locations”, hey to each their own, personally I like to bury my heads all in one spot and there’s multiple reasons for this the very first being if I ever have to dig up said heads to relocate it’s easier to find them if they’re all in one spot. Another reason is so no one feels left out, heads get lonely you know, 2 heads are better than one they say but I say 25 are better than 1, now we’re talking think tank status right. You also have to take into consideration that you may one day have to reveal where these heads are to law enforcement, you’re already in deep shit so making it easier for the police is a plus at that point , I can’t think of any other reasons at this time of why putting all your heads in one basket or hole is beneficial but if I think of anymore I’ll be sure to notify everyone. ***** If you read this and took it seriously then you should lighten up, it’s a joke, a crude disgusting joke at that but a joke none the less, I don’t condone dismembering heads and putting them in one hole, now multiple holes is another story, wait maybe this karate guy had something going here, lol once again A JOKE!!!!

This guy, like Gemini twins, made his horrible legacy at young age. Like the forementioned Testa & Senter, he was sentenced for life way before his 40th birthday. This guy got promoted to capo in his early 30s, maybe even in his late 20s. And he was no M. Franzese who only had 3y recruit period, then got made and spent only few years as soldato before gettin bumbed up to capo, and yes Michael was moneymaker, but he got alot just because who his father was. Remember he only "discovered" the gas scam in early 80s, when he allready was a capo. Michael went from being civilian to associate to soldier and eventually to capo, in less than a decade. His early succes was mostly because who his father was. Pitera on the other hand came from no stock, no immeadete family in mafia, he alligned with A. Indelicato. Their side lost the war, so that should have been the end of Tommy, or atleast the end of any quick rising through the ranks of Bonanno family. He was only associate at the time, if even that. But in 5-6 years he went on to become a made man and then a capo. He was main hitman for Bonannos and for Anthony Spero. Very good friends with another cold blooded killer, Eddie Lino from Gambinos. Some claim they went together to spot people just to kill for "practice" (fun).

He continually killed his crew members for minor mistakes so guys he enlisted or old time friends who worked with him were always wondering if they’d be next. The woman he killed gave his fiancé at the time drugs after he warned her not too so she left town. After a few months she returned and hooked up with one of his crew members at a bar they hung out in and went home with him that night. Before she could leave the next morning Tommy already heard she was back in town and called and asked if she was there. The crew member knew if he lied he’d be killed so he reluctantly told Tommy she was there. He told him to hold her there, came over immediately and killed her. Kept her head in the refrigerator and hacked her up in the bath tub. I heard this directly from the crew member who went home with her during his confessions on a you tube video of a tv documentary.

@@BLAZENYCBLACKOPS Most residents of Bensonhurst were of Southern Italian backgrounds. Most Southern Italians had olive-brown complexion. Sure, they had darker Italians as they had very fair skin Italians. All I am saying is the "karate" did no appear Italian. Taking a quote from Mario Puzzo: "He was the color of German Puddin."

@@TingTingalingy ah, your thinking to small. From what I have learned the Italians are only a small faction of what’s going on. There are much bigger families and, groups. They don’t care if your willing to work for them and are trusted you can. Much more nefarious than the Italian mafia. Your local ford, Chevy, Toyota, Honda, dealer, electric company, restaurant probably runs a family..

Instead of reading wikipedia I can just watch your vids. lol. Hey, you should insert photos of these people and stuff like that during the video, but that takes editing... and I don't know if you like doing that sort of stuff, but it's a thought. Kinda make it like a small documentary.

Remember the hood well. I lived on Crawford Ave, right off of Coney Island Ave. To me it was peaceful enough to go jogging at night by myself. No one ever bothered me. I learned to have a smile for everyone and keep to my head down. Survival of the fittest.

You can write Tommy in prison. He usually answers. If you didn't know his history you would think he was a nice guy. I grew up on 74th st and admiral ave in Middle Village. Heavy mob area. Right near st John's cemetery where almost every made guy is buried. If you're interested on sitting down and talking to some guys, I may be able to help. I'm a big fan btw
