I like that I’m getting referred to some videos for people I’ve just subscribed to for other videos. I feel like it’s pretty nostalgic to see where somebody played a year ago compared to now and this even sounds incredible.

Good job! Anyone paying tribute to Immortal is worthy of an upvote. That being said... how could you possibly have overlooked Battles In The North?!? Buh. Still -- yay.

Thanks! Like I said, I did not played any BITN riffs because the video is long enough and these riffs are more "iconic" 😉 maybe someday I will cover one entire song from that album (which I like a lot)

@@narthang1270 More staccato and rhythmwise more compicated is "better"? Besides GafK, every song he mentioned is amongst my Top 5 of Immortal. One by one is funny noise but for me propably the worsed song of the whole album in terms of creating athmo.

Immortal songs sound like they'd be super fun to play. But I haven't picked up a guitar for a decade.

Dude, I think the riff at 1:55 is not quite correct. In fact this is really really hard to hear from the original recording, what Demonaz acutally did. My solution is: the guitar is pitched up one smitone to f standard and he first plays a dissolved e minor chord (sounding f minor) and then the notes c (sounding c#), f(soundingf#), g# (sounding a ) and open g string(sounding g# or a flat). Not sure is my version is totally correct, but I am sure the sound is pretty much defined by resonating open strings.
