Sad there was no trap-in-action clip but definitely understand why. But then also not seeing the ‘Feed it to wild animals’ part, definite Double whammy. Triple whammy when there was no Dizzy Dunker promo, I bet due to the multiple fakes found earlier. • Hope this isn’t the new format. 😢

I use this trap, along with some of their others. They work amazingly. The only thing I dislike is that when I get chipmunks, they get further in before setting off the trap, and I often find them still alive and the bar having come down lower on their back, by their hips.

That's better than a slow death, though. I've seen mice that had a Victor snap trap get them squarely across the neck flail around for 10 - 20 seconds as they slowly suffocated. And also later caught one that ran off with a snap trap in an electronic trap to discover it had a very noticeable dent across its neck. It somehow survived the snap across its neck, ran off with the trap and got out of it. (I took a picture of that one, because I knew no one would believe me otherwise.) I'd prefer a trap that is overkill, but 100% instant, over that.

@jvgauthier

In my experience, this trap has not always been quick enough kill with grey squirrels. In fact, not nearly at a good enough frequency. It will catch them with very little failures, but sometimes still fighting for it's life a couple hours later. If the bottom bar was raised an 4th of an inch or so, that probably would to a massive difference. I just did not try to modify mines. I still use it for rats, tho. For squirrel, I much prefer to use body grip 110 with peanut butter coated marshmallow on the fork.
