I've never used Gen Y hitches and honestly probably never will. I'm a B&W fan and love the simplicity of it and feel like I have more adjustment height wise, but I know where to check them out now, lol

You need to make the rack either foldable or removable. I work in a shop hard to replace rear windows. At least try something. Try installing a rear window you'll find out what I mean.

But would the bolts withstand years of hard bumps and major vibrations from going down dirt or grassy roads or through the pastures will all the grime and water rust the bolts out and our sides just fly off I don’t see this as a good option for any work unless you are in a downtown area and only drive paved flat smooth roads

Imagine how fast that flatbed will rattle apart. Just imagine it in your head…… not to burst everyone’s bubble. Rollin down the road…. “Ahhhh shit there goes the side of my bed again” Yes cool idea, but let’s admit it. Not every cool idea is reality.
