@@rhymestyle I bought some anime-style Toon cards and they include the God cards, Holactie, the Sacred Beasts, Armatyle, Exodia Incarnate, Relinquished, and Yubel, and they look pretty dope.

no it really isn't, if you read the card you can only special summon it in the gy, unlike obelisk which can be hand or gy, sure its effects cant be negated but theres also huge draw backs to the card such as making your opponent draw until they have 6 as well, the fact its a trap card and not a spell so you cant use it on the first turn and to top it off slifers own effect where if its special summon it goes to the graveyard at the end of the turn (seriously why couldnt they have made it so that it is considered a proper summon this is so trash). The other cards all have glaring draw backs as well. Its overall disapointing but i suppose support is support.

You're right, they should be getting erratas and potentially more monster support, maybe even an archetype designed to support the gods. But they are getting some support, and the effects are really nice for Obelisk and Slifer, and I guess the Ra support is ok. But I don't understand why Konami has to always screw over one of the gods. The Obelisk and Slifer support both have negation protection, while the Ra one doesn't even have a way to get the negation prevention. I understand if it had the protection right off the bat, there may be some problems, especially since it has a flood gate effect. But it should've still had a way to get a negation protection for the Immortal Phoenix summon at least. Something like if Ra was normal summoned when this effect was activated, then the Immortal Phoenix summon could not be negated. Pretty simple, has a caveat, and the special summoning lock and the overall card can still be negated.

@@densuomega what's stupid is that i remember originally when the Gods were legit playable, they couldnt be Targeted. by anything. if it designated a target, and you tried to play it on one of the Gods, it didnt work. So stuff like Raigeki, Mirror Force, Dark Hole, Torrential, AoE stuff like that worked, but anything like Sakuretsu, Draining Shield, Raigeki Break, Tribute to the Doomed, it didnt work. And you could only Special Summon them from the grave if you summoned them normally, and they were sent back at the end of the turn. they were powerful, but not entirely broken, but were protected against target effects. Why did that change?

@@Marco_mm yeah in actual due and bo3, You will go second.when u go second Enemy empty their hand then when u Active this card. U basically give Enemy fresh card.

@@yamiryujin4982 Nah, most meta decks generate resource like crazy. A lot of decks can set a full board and still have 4-5 cards in hand by the end of the turn

Not the same thing at all. We agreed only on one boss monster (our gods) and no offensive/defensive spells traps. Returning a card into your hand is not the same thing at all here

since seereax also had 3 monsters on the field i thought he was going to summon Ra and do a god vs god clash, but then he used creature swap
