It seems fitting that Studio Ghibli puzzles are both immensely satisfying and super high quality. Because of course they are.

I live in Japan and just wanted to comment that the stained glass puzzles have more than just Ghibli for those of you who want to try them. They have them for basically everything. Pokemon, Disney, anime and more. The Disney ones are sold under their own brand but I have put together a Stitch one, a Marie one and a Nightmare Before Christmas one. Not only have I done most of the Ghibli minis, but similar to the 1000 piece Totoro style - they have 300 to 500 piece versions if you don’t want one quite as big. I have also done a Sailor Moon one, an Eevee Evolution one and Nezuko from Kimetsu no Yaiba. I am not sure how readily available the others are in America, but a mini runs about 800yen and the 300 piece ones are around 2300 yen give or take (they often go on sale here though so I get them cheaper) All but Disney are sold under the brand ‘Ensky’ in Japanese. It might not be very English friendly, but they do have a website with all of them. Most of you may have saw in the video but just in case I did want to add the the Artboard Jigsaw (the plastic one) is made by Pintoo. So if you have ever done a Pintoo puzzle its the same pieces. Again, they have a variety of anime and Disney for this style. Also, even though they are Pintoo puzzles they are sold by Ensky in Japan. From what I can gather, Pintoo makes them and Japan distributes them. Pintoo also make ‘mame’ (bean) puzzles from a variety of anime, they are micro puzzles and only 150 pieces. Those run about 1200 yen and the artboard ones are typically in the 3500 yen range. The only thing I cannot confirm is if the Disney plastic canvas ones are Pintoo or not, I have seen them in the store but never looked too closely or done one myself. Hope this helps anyone who is interested in them ❤

I’ve done three of the small (208 pieces) and I love them. The click when you attach the pieces is even exciting. I didn’t realize there was a 1000-piece puzzle, so that’s now on my list. Thank you, Karen!

I was expecting to be shocked by the prices but for the quality you're getting they're really not that bad. Definitely a little more expensive than cardboard puzzles but that's to be expected. Definitely going to look in to getting some of the smaller ones.

I just completed my own one thousand piece puzzle and I honestly thought it would take me ages but I followed your strategy of flipping the pieces all over and separating it by texture and it made it so much easier. So thank you from this amateur puzzler

My favourite Ghibli movie is Kaguya Hime Monogatari, breath-takingly beautiful work by Isao Takahata. The art style, the thoughtful digging into Japanese folklore and a modern, humanist interpretation of it, the music. A true Japanese artpiece, a gem. It took 13 years to made, and is Mr. Takahata's last work.

Movie theaters nationwide are currently having Studio Ghibli Fest! Once a month a different Ghibli film will be shown multiple days ( except for August which has 3 films).

Howl's Moving Castle is easily my favorite Ghibli movie. I find it very satisfying!

Good thing with these is that you don’t have to start by flipping 1000 pieces, you’re good to go right away! So satisfying!

Alright you've convinced me that I need these puzzles in my life! They look so incredibly satisfying! 😍 Edit: I ordered the 1000 piece along with a couple of the 126 and 208 piece ones. So excited to work on them!

Another really fun and pretty puzzle is the Ravensburger ‘The Four Seasons’. It looks like a traditional Japanese painting and it’s soo pretty and satisfying to make

I actually went out and bought a couple of the smaller art crystal puzzles when you first mentioned them because they looked so satisfying. They were perfect for a small, self-contained activity for relieving my stress around the winter holidays! My favorite Studio Ghibli film is probably Howl's Moving Castle, so I was disappointed that it wasn't really represented in the puzzles I saw...but the other images are still very cute!!

I've seen these before but i didn't expect them to hold together so well. I just wish whoever manufactured these made non Ghibli puzzles. I'm not an anime person and am not in to displaying fan stuff in my home but these look great and i would love some puzzles in this style that i would actually want to have displayed

Wow, this is perfect timing. My 4th anniversary is coming up and the traditional gift is fruit or flowers. I've been struggling for weeks to find something I think my husband will enjoy. When I saw the first puzzle I immediately thought this is it! He loves puzzles and Studio Ghibli, and several of the ones you did today feature flowers prominently. It will be so satisfying seeing his face when he opens his present!

That Totoro puzzle is absolutely beautiful.

To display your puzzle on your low window sill, I suggest stacking a few books on top of each other, and then placing the jigsaw picture on top. Add a plant etc beside it for a cosy look and some greenery.

I haven't done a translucent Ensky puzzle before but I've done a couple Disney themed stained glass ones by Tenyo (also from Japan) and the pieces and fit were similar. By far my favorite puzzles I've done, and I'm glad to know that you found them satisfying too!! I'm not as much of a Studio Ghibli fan but I'm tempted to become more of one just to have an excuse to get these puzzles.

I have two of the tiny puzzles and it was super satisfying to make. They are really redoable as many times you want just for fun or to have a relax moment in your daily life.

I haven't done one of these Ghibli puzzles, but have done similar ones by Tenyo that were Disney themed. I love them! You're so right about how Satisfying (HA! I used this before you even said anything!) it is to click them into place and being able to hold them up to the light is great. You've made me want to redo the ones I own now or go to B&N to go get one of these next week when I'm near one!

Gotta say, it made me really happy to see that you were doing the Studio Ghibli puzzles for this video. I spent part of my Thanksgiving weekend with my niece last year solving two of the mini puzzles since my niece recently got into puzzle solving. Very *satisfying* video, Karen! I came across your channel recently and it re-sparked an interest I had in puzzles from my childhood. Had to watch this video as I live in Japan and even named one of my children after one of the characters in the puzzles you did. If you like My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki's Delivery Service, you might really like 千と千尋の神隠し (Spirited Away), too. An absolute classic.

OK, the sound of the puzzle pieces snapping together is so satisfying. That alone is enough for me to want one! I had seen that Kiki bread puzzle and thought it was nice but I had no idea it was a artboard puzzle! Howel's moving castle is probably my fav Ghibli film. I think the tale of the princess kagya would have made the most beautiful puzzle due to the watercolor like art style so I hope they make one soon. I also highly recommend you see that movie!

I loved the mini puzzles. I have a little brother. He's 6 and he started to show interest in puzzles, like me. I bought him 2 48 piece puzzle and he is obsessed with it. I was worried that it'll be difficult to solve but he made both of them in less than 3 hours . I would love to have one each and solve them with him

I've done one of the mini puzzles, and they are totally satisfying! I love how well they stay together to pick up and move around. This is the first I've seen of the canvas style ones though, so I may need keep an eye out for those next I'm in B&N! I do wish they had some puzzles with Howl's Moving Castle.
