I cleaned motel rms for 18 years, one of the things I always did after I cleaned the rm I would back track to make sure I didn't forget anything to do, and one of the most important thing to do is when you clean clean it like you would be staying in there no body wants a dirty rm, but on the top of this subject when people would vacant the rm I seen so much stuff in my time that people have done in those rms lol nothing never surprised me when I had to clean the rms. I miss the wrk, but they just don't pay much atleast the one's I worked at.

That’s a normal modern aged shower. Many hotels use that style now. Great hotel room.

There’s a comfort suites that has showers like that. I don’t understand the open door shower thing but it works anyway. That’s shocking to see a walk in shower in a motel. (Door to the outside). It’s definitely been recently remodeled and they did a good job.

I worked maintenance at a hotel and from experience i don't think i ever seen housekeeping spend much more than 3 minutes per room cleaning.

That’s how a lot of the showers are now in the hotels on the strip in Vegas. I would rather have it completely closed in, but nothing I can do about it. Pretty decent for sure!

Not a bad room for $80. In Australia,we would be paying probably double that amount, depending on where it's located.

Get some luminol and you might be shocked and horrified what you may find.

If you happen to come more south to the 15 fwy. The Mc Stay family were buried in the desert by Chase Merritt. He was their business partner. The remains of husband, wife & 2 young sons. Chase frequented bars here in my town. Not too far from where their remains were found. Some friends of mime met him too. May he rot in Hell!

More and more hotels are going without a shower curtain and doing things like this. Its easier and faster to clean than having to worry about shower curtains

I used to work at a Travel lodge and a Motel 6 and we had to really have those rooms clean.

A 1 Watt UV light is plenty bright for finding nastiness. I have a couple two AAA battery UV pen lights that are perfect for stuff like that.

I understand wanting to check out the room with a black light, I'd do the same thing, but you didn't even bother to wash your hands after touching the toilet seat.

I haven’t stayed in a hotel/motel in years. I probably should have looked at my rooms more in-depth but I assumed they were clean. I took my 10 year old daughter to a New Kids on the Block concert in 1990. I got us a room at the Hyatt. The next morning I got room service as a treat. We had two queen beds. We were eating our French toast and my daughter asked me what it was. I look over and she’s holding a used condom. Fortunately it went through the laundry. I said I didn’t know and would give it to the front desk when we checked out. I told them it was in my daughter’s bed and she found it. They were a little red faced.

They need to do a cold asphalt seal coat on the parking lot and also do hot asphalt crack seal for the bigger cracks.

I think that stuff running down the toilet might have been the cleaner they used. Maybe some dried bleach or whatever toilet bowl cleaner they use. Definitely did not look like urine to me.

Check sheets, for boogers or hair. I was glad I checked, cause that's what I found years ago. And dead dry, skin at the foot area.😐😮‍💨

Glass showers are in a lot of casinos nowadays... I guess because it is easy to clean and you don't have to replace shower curtains... I am curious did they try to screw you over for the crack or whatever that was??? I once won a free trip and afterwards the crappy hotel tried to say we trashed it and put stab wholes in the wall which of course I did not do... People are so low down nowadays you have to be really careful but I am sure that you are already well aware of that BS... Safe travels Lamont ✌️✌️✌️

Hey Lamont, if you iron over the sheet say on the corner of the bed, the heat from the iron will bring out bed bugs if they have them. Do this for about a minute. Just a tip.

FYI: if you don’t wanna know what you’re sleeping on, just bring your own sheets&pillows…that’s what I do whenever I plan on staying at a Hotel. Then just wash my sheets when I get home.

i stayed one night in a travel lodge and then i went camping the next day,by then i was itching so dam bad,i found out i had bed bugs,so i had to come home and sleep in my tent in my yard for like a month till i was no longer itchy.....JUST FRICKEN TERRIBLE!

Isn't it a shame that we must check out rooms with blacklights and whatever to make sure the places are clean. I stayed in a roach motel in Kissimmee FL once not knowing it had roaches until after checking in at 11:00 pm.

I’m from the U.K. and I have an odd accent too. We have Travel Lodges here and they are awful. I stayed in one once and the toilet stunk of pee. In fact the whole room stunk of pee. 🚰🚿🛁🚽🧽🧼
