Fun fact about Adult Swim: The guy who voiced the “Welcome to Glory Sound Prep” and the other blurbs, Chris Sabat, also voiced Piccolo in Dragon Ball Z. In a way, Piccolo is technically part of the “GSP universe,” if you will, hence to the reference to the planet Namek(also a DBZ reference) in the opening line. Jon was a huge fan of the show as a kid, which explains why he wanted Chris on the track, and called it Adult Swim as well. And as a full-circle moment, Chris got Jon to voice a small character in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie. So yeah, Jon Bellion is a bonafide nerd.

Jon is truly one of the greatest producers/ songwriters out there, he has won 2 Grammy for songwriting and producing and just has been nominated for his 3rd, I found a list of the songs he wrote and produces, defiantly song recognizable songs. 22:15 I think AJR uses trumpets too playfully rather than as a serious melodic instrument. but i guess different artists + different methods = different sounds.... AJR could genuinely benefit from doing an entirly serious album one day rather than their usual: "hey, here's a million sounds and topics that were trying to get you to relate to all at once!".
