@@oskarifps Sure that played a part, but still, no one can deny that they had the most unexpected and impressive growth out of any team during the duration of that tournament. And eliminating both DRX and PRX consecutively is not something any team can boast about.

The most hype tourney run for me was DRX at Champs tbh They played against full power EMEA and finally didn't lose at 5/6th

DRX league of legends Worlds 2022 Cinderella run is the best tourney run of 2022 by a lot... even more, probably in history... they went from the Play-In Stage (equivalent to LCQ in valorant) to actually winning the worlds against T1 (Faker's team - LoL Goat player, 3 times world champion and favorites by miles after a perfect season), and actually defeating every single regional champion and the former world champion in their way though the brackets. I follow most e-sports, and it is the first time I ever witness something of that caliber.

@@king_thanos_2116 ever since drx started competing internationally and i watched them play i knew this team is a championship winner but their mental always dismantles in important moments which made me think maybe their destined for 5th place which would be such a waste when they have prolly the best managment in vct and such beautiful playstyle with top players in the world but they proved me wrong , they should get a mental health coach for São Paulo tho i heard astralis got one and they went from major chokers to 4 time major winners

People often forgetting how impactfull great controller can be. Both ZETA and PRX run showcase SugarZero and MindFreak insane performance regardless of their team's very different playstyle.

Zeta's story is like an anime arc of grinding to become champions. They were always eliminated before but the improvement and dedication to become one of the best is insane from them. Their aims are the absolute best and i really love their story. I was so proud of them that they placed higher and I believe they will improve more.

ive been rooting for them from the start I fell in love with them, they made me so proud beyond tears. Masters one was truly one of the most enjoyable tournaments to watch. i would stay up all night watching every zeta match

Maybe I've watched too much Anime. But ZETA's progress at Masters is like a Shounen show. And it is Glorious. And being top 10 during Champions is no joke. Also their Casters just instinctively makes you smile whenever they scream without any care to their vocal cords.

Believe it or not but I had bets on them to win against NIP and FNC and won £300 , I saw the potential and was really impressed with their Cinderella run regardless of their end result. I hope after last VCT they're able to come back stronger because they didn't look as convincing against LOUD and other teams within their group, especially with the new meta followed by new map pool/changes. Lets see what Valorant 2023 has in store for everyone because last VCT was full of surprises; especially after all the franchising is over! Finally, I honestly have no idea why they decided to remove Split from the map pool it was such a competitive map to watch, but now we have Pearl...

An interesting fact about ZETA vs DRX: Ascent is DRX's best map, at around 80% winrate, and also ZETA's ban map every match before that. This meant that ZETA, instead of banning Ascent, they banned Haven, and basically freestyled this map, but they still managed quite a decent scoreline

Old video but it's hard to improve as a team when you're region opponents aren't the best competition and "rumor" being that some teams didn't want to scrim with them. This run just made them prove they can adapt and learn from their mistakes. Hopefully a better run this VCT if they even make it lol.
