The first one is indeed in fact expanding foam! People use it to create a negative body kit, so they can make it later out of carbon or something plastic... But this probably was the dude's first try and he messed up, or corrected it later :D

Expanding foam is used to contour lines to make body kits or wide body for cars, have done it a handful of times to make fiberglass molds or metal one off body kits for stuff like a 02 hyundai elantra
