The improvements make this game SO MUCH BETTER. I tried playing the OG through twice. On Vengeance and 20 hours in, it's reminding me why i love SMT

Is it still challenging? These releases can often tone down the difficulty by incorporating to many new features.

@@cmhsky I may trade in my old version and upgrade, I still haven't played it. Some people are saying it's easier while others are saying it's harder. I believe there is even another setting above hard but you don't unlock it until much later. As long as it's as hard as Persona 4 Golden on Very Hard then I will be fine with it. Persona 5 Royal I thought was to easy. Still haven't played Reload, but I'm also hearing it's way easier. I can't stand strategy games without strategy.

@@Particle_Ghost persona is a spin off. SMT V goes back to SMT basics. Where you can't just make one good team with good skills when it comes to bosses. For me I'll save, start the boss battle. Figure out what weakness they have and skills they use. Then restart and form up a team with the right resistances and skills. The support skills that raise or lower stats can be stacked 2x and i make sure two of my team have different ones so two different stats are being lowered on the boss at a time. Boss battles are difficult enough where this is necessary.

This is my very first SMT game (have only played Persona games) and I am LOVING it, this game is so addicting, amazing soundtrack and great visuals.

I just finished my Canon of Vengeance playthrough! Going to do the Canon of Creation playthrough next, even though that story was the one featured in the OG SMT5
