@@MrSharkFIN I did not think about the snow factor. It feels different to skate on a lake. Last winter we dug the snow away from a part of the lake and pumped up water from a hole we sawed in the ice. It wasn't a perfect result but at last we could play some hockey when every rink was closed for the public. It required a lot of work but we had fun doing the it.

Im speachless..... seeing the bottom or NOT seeing the bottom of that lake while skating over the top is so crazy and satisfying lol!!!! thats insane and looks soo much fun!

Man that's awesome! Hockey at it's purist out side in the cold air. Clear ice and no ads. Hope they all savored the moment, wish my knees never gave out, I would love to have skated on that ice.

Bunch of Legends! Got to meet Jeff in Mammoth in 2019 while i was living in California. As a Canadian who grew up playing pond hockey, who would of known that California would be where hockey dreams come true!

One of the sickest videos I’ve ever seen. I know how to skate but don’t play hockey and don’t hike. I would 100% hike and play some pick-up hockey on a mountain lake like this.

Rad! I know exactly where that is! I do a lot of climbing right between chickenfoot lake and Morgan pass, I can see the pass in the backdrop of the video. It truly is a wonderful hike no matter what you are doing up there.
