I loved this one the best out all of the mid-late 80's openings. Though the short HBO "movie" opening has a special place in my heart. Shouts out to MetroVision ( doesn't exist anymore) in P.G. County MD!!!

Actually, not PPV; just an extra-cost cable movie channel. I don't know whatever became of them, but we used to watch it starting in '78 when it was called "Star-Channel", and ran two movies twice a day.

TMC used to be hosted by Robert Osborne, that now hosts Turner Classic Movies.

I think it was "Uncommon Valor", Gene Hackman.

I liked The Movie Channel and liked a lot of their movies. However, I was shocked watching 1776 on their channel. They censored it and took out the word 'Jesus' whenever the Page said 'Sweet Jesus.' But I noticed they left the word 'whore' in! I had taped it previously but there was a little chopped off from the beginning so I had wanted a complete movie. Now I wish I would have kept that one instead!! I really didn't think they censored. Sad!! Are they going to start advocating book burning next?!
