CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) tells the warden (Omid Djalili) that Rick (Brendan Fraser) knows how to find Hominoptra, and should be set free.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Loosely adapted from the classic 1932 horror film starring Boris Karloff, The Mummy is set in Egypt, where over 3,000 years ago the high priest Imhotep (played by Arnold Vosloo) was given the all-important assignment of preparing the recently dead for their journey into the afterlife. However, Imhotep made one terrible mistake - he became smitten with Anck-Su-Namun, the mistress of the Pharaoh himself. Driven mad by jealousy and love, Imhotep murdered the Pharaoh, and his punishment was to be buried alive and suffer the torment of an eternal life in his wretched tomb. In 1925, a band of adventurers seeking fame and fortune - led by Rick O'Connel (Brendan Fraser), an American expatriate who has joined the foreign legion, and Evelyn Carnarvon (Rachel Weisz), an amateur archeologist - find a previously unknown burial site in Egypt. The team starts to dig, hoping to find lost riches, but instead they disturb the tomb of Imhotep, and soon the cursed priest rises from his grave to wreck vengeance on humanity. The Mummy was written and directed by Stephen Sommers, whose previous cinematic journeys into the past include The Jungle Book and The Adventures Of Huck Finn.

Actually it was, my grandparents had fully paid for their 3 bedroom house around 1960 (before they had any children) and back then it cost around 4k-5k, so in 1927 £500 would've been a fortune, or someone's entire life savings.

I'm not trying to be those niggas who can't think of any comeback on youtube and just say, "you make me laugh." to look unhurt. I honestly did chuckle. How do you know that you would fuck me up? None of my videos show how I look. How did you know I'm not The Rock and likes to use random user names without getting caught for fun? Now, don't look through my videos and reply with a, "Because you play video games on your channel." Because that answers how you "know", when I asked you how you "knew". I'm looking forward to a reply. And sorry for the first comment. I just assumed. People can assume. I mean, what would you do if some random nigga sang We Will Rock You and said they came up with the song themselves when they're telling the truth and just got unlucky by writing a song they didn't know was already written? You're obviously going to assume they stole the song from Queen, right? And here's another question; Where did you get those facts that they really got hung?

Archangel Michael lol what backstabbing has existed for ages, u talk abt Honour and word, yet Caesar is a good example of betrayal, well before 21st century. I'd say humans have always lacked honour, yet have always had it. Plus it's a movie, not a bloody documentary also, it's a bloody joke.

I miss this style of dialogue in movies. Even the way she hooks the guy and says "Ah! Deal." bears no resemblance to today's contrived, overly naturalistic, and run together exchanges on film. God, I miss the 90's!!

This film was paying homage to old Hollywood pictures, hence to use of the extensive sets and extras. I won't say that CG or green screens are the enemy of filmmaking, but they surely can't replicate the sense of grandeur of real set and extras and I do miss them. CG and green screen are best and effective when they're used properly.
