I listened to this at 3 am and I had an existential crisis

I think this song has a very deep meaning, It talks about someone that is trying to find his true identity. Sometimes is very hard to find it and you end up realizing that you are not just not one thing, you are a combination of elements that build your personality, and that make you the person you are.

Who else loves this song for how unnecessarily dramatic it is?

I don't know why, but i cried when I first heard this song. It's one of the only in-movie songs that I can actually remember. That's saying a lot, since my memory is about as reliable as the power generator in Five Nights at Freddy's.

I love randomly singing this song. I'll be in the shower singing and my sister will be like, "What the hell are you singing?" lol. I grew up watching the Muppets so this touches my heart and soul. :P

I don't get why people are questioning why this won the best original song? I mean it's not about the catchiness, it like Musicals and thing like that. The song has to captivate people and mean something not just be catchy with birds flying around it shows them deciding who they are in yes a little bit of a weird way.
