Getting older has taught me that something like this could just be true events laid out with changed names. Fred Quincy's irl counterpart is BARELY a changed name anyway.

I love these background missions that feel like throwbacks to the LA Noire mystery-solving. Rockstar needs to do a follow up or another detective-style game focused on unraveling these dark mysteries taking place beneath the neon lights of Hollywood.

i haven't even thought about that mineshaft since like 2015, i completely forgot it existed there being a whole side mission around it is crazy i thought it was just a one off spooky place like the mt chilliad ghost

The thing with the xbox 360/ PS3 returning player bonus being available to everyone was because at some point there was a glitch that took the bonus away from people who should have had it and rockstar couldn't figure out who should and shouldn't have it so they just made it available to everyone

I have played GTA V for almost 11 years, consider myself quite clued up on the hidden secrets, yet had no idea this existed. I knew of the random body in the mineshaft but didn’t know there was a secret storyline surrounding it. What an awesome video!

I vaguely remember when the Enhanced Version first came out, a lot of people found Isaac's body before uncovering the various messages and the letter that explain who he is. This resulted in some fairly widespread theories that the body was supposed to be a reference to Cole Phelps, the main character from LA Noire. The similarities are fairly tenuous, but without the extra context provided by the letter in Solomon's office, it's also an understandable misconception, since the game otherwise gives you nothing else to go on if you find Isaac first. The actual solution and the story of Isaac, Fred and Maureen feels odd to me, largely because of how little there is to it, the mystery just feels a bit incomplete. It almost feels like there was meant to be more of a sidequest there that wound up getting cut. The themes of a Vinewood murder and a tell-all letter make me wonder if this was an earlier draft for what became the Leonora Johnson/letter scraps activity. Michael's interest in the film industry makes him a more logical choice as the protagonist for such a sidequest, but if they wanted it to be part of the path to 100% completion, it would have had to be assigned to Franklin so it could be completed regardless of which ending to the main story players chose.

This being accessible is because of a bug! Someone at Rockstar flipped a switch and took away returning player bonuses, and just flipped the switch back and gave it to everyone at some point. There's other videos on that bug :p

the "ps3/360 player exclusive content" was indeed actually exclusive to those players for a time, until rockstar broke it with a gta online update which caused everyone to lose it, to remedy it (since they can't just figure out who originally played the 2013 release), they just blanket gave the content to everyone, even pc players who weren't supposed to get it in the first place.

I clicked on this video and Fizhy showed up in my room and held me at gunpoint until I subscribed, don’t believe him when he says he can’t do it.

I'm sure it was a time thing. It's really interesting and I love that Michael is the one that has to be the one you use. He's my favorite character.

I think Darkviper said there was a mess up at rockstar and someone did something where this content was either on or off for everybody, so to not piss people off they just turned it on. Don't quote me on any of that by the way. might not have been dark viper, and that might not have been what the person said. I just remember it for some reason.

The reason you have the content for returning players is a couple months ago something happened with one of the updates for gta 5 and it took away that content from the original returning players and they didn’t know which account was a returning player and who wasn’t so they gave it to everyone

Actually it was a mistake mare by an employee at Rockstar... What happened was they screed up and Rockstar didnt want to find out who the returning players were... So they made it available for everyone...
