They had just had an argument. She may have stormed off. Her ex probably feels guilty enough as it is without people judging him for not watching her. If she'd have just got a taxi straight home it's unlikely that the driver would have watched her go into her house. It would have happened no matter who had driven her home. The man was a perv and unfortunately Sally Anne was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Happens often not just in murders either A boy here on Northern Ireland was literally about to turn into his drive way and 2 boys racing down the road on drugs crashed into his car squishing it and killing him he was 17 and one of the drivers died as well (my cousin's big brother) and the other driver rang his parents to come get his car so no one would know he was involved cause he knew the people were dead from the way the cars were damaged and the wee boys mum can see the crash sit from her bedroom window Another boy was just about home and he was hanging out the car window and the driver started racing when going to turn into the lane and hit his car splitting him In half Infront of everyone

Your comment struck a cord with me… The amount of times my youngest daughter came home after a night out with friends, drunk, happy, had a great night out, searching through her bag for her keys. I remember one time in particular, she had her keys in her hand but couldn’t get them into the lock, she called me at 3/4am to come downstairs to open the door. She was crying, my heart just sank because I could tell immediately that something wasn’t right. She is the kind of girl that can get a bit drunk, but she’s not a crying drunk, like she wouldn’t get that upset because she couldn’t find her keys & furthermore, she’s never not been able to get her key into the lock before… As it turned out, she was in an awful state when I opened the door, she fell into my arms like she was a little child again, (she was 28 years old at the time)! As we got talking, she says she didn’t remember how she got home, she only remembered part of her evening, this was so unlike her. After she had some sleep, which turned out to be more sleep than she would generally have after a night out. Talking about the events of the night before, we both think her drink must have been spiked, but she refused to let me call the police because she felt she’d been so irresponsible, she wouldn’t listen to my reasoning at the time because she felt stupid. I’m just so thankful that it was a taxi driver she knew that brought her home that night, otherwise, well I don’t want to think about what could have happened!! These stories are all too familiar & heartbreaking ❤️‍🩹
@estianna76
@estianna76 Жыл бұрын
To add to my previous comment…. My daughter did let the pub owner, where she was a regular, know that she thought she might have been spiked & they stepped up security by doing more thorough searches on customers as they arrived at the pub/club & done random toilet checks too… The experience made her stay at home for several weekends after it happened too. She’s also very careful about leaving a drink unattended. As a side note, I’ve heard that some pubs & clubs have covers to place over your glass nowadays to try limit spiking!! 👍🏻👏🏻

UPDATE: In 2020 he admitted to 2 more accounts of sexual assault/indecent exposures committed in 2003 and 1987 he's been tried for those too. He has also admitted to murdering Sally. Sally's mother has been begging him to tell her what happened to Sally's belongings, he has ignored all contact from her and refused to tell her. That night Sally had a white cardigan and her prada handbag on her containing her ID and some other items. Sally's mother desperately wants these items back as she feels they are extremely important to her as for eg, Sally's white cardigan was her favorite item of clothing. Sadly Mark Dixie is so evil and unremorseful he is withholding this information despite him admitting to murdering Sally years into his prison sentence.

In my family if someone's being dropped off in the evening, when it's dark out, the driver doesn't leave until the person being dropped off is safely inside. I used to wonder why and didn't really see much point to it but when you hear about a case like this you realise how important it is.

No matter how angry you may be at someone, isn't their life worth more than your anger? Anyone who drives away without making sure their passenger is safely in their house first, is not a very good friend. Even in rural areas, such as are in Texas, Mississippi and Georgia USA, we watch our passenger go into their house or whatever other destination we've taken them to. I am so glad others do this as well. Another thing. If you take someone to their car, always make sure it starts and they are actually moving before you leave them. My friend (a mechanic) actually left me at my car which then would not start. I had to wait a good bit before calling him to come back. I thank God it was daytime and not in a rural area!

The whole circumstances are so terrible, really. If Sally Anne had just stayed at Nicole’s place, she would’ve lived. If Lewis had just held his temper long enough to get her just outside her house. The small and unfortunate instances of that night culminated in her being murdered. God only knows how you deal with that kind of knowledge.

You should do the case of Elizabeth Laguna Salgado who disappeared in 2015 from Provo, Utah here in the U.S. She had just come from Mexico 3 weeks prior to her disappearance. Her body was recently found May 24th of this year in a lake in Utah. Many people suspect that one or both of the uncles she had here in the U.S had something to do with it since they were the only two family members she had in this country. Elizabeth Smart even helped out in spreading her case when it happened.

This is my first time watching a new episode by you after binge watching all your true crime videos! The case I’d like to suggest is the Maddie Clifton murder. Since I’m from the area that it happened I know a couple details people don’t normal talk about which are that Josh had been sleeping in his parents’ room and not on his waterbed, and that there were rumors his father helped due to Josh being unable to lift the waterbed himself. Apparently his dad was very strict, abusive, and hated little girls to the point that his wife feared having a daughter. All of that may seem odd but it’ll make sense when you know about the case.

The females we knew did not want to go out as much anymore and so the guys had to always ensure that we dropped or escorted them home when they called or we were out with them. Sally's, situation was so awful and some people were so traumatised , living in that area for a while.

Sorry, but I think it is absolutely ridiculous how the police went about dealing with Sally‘s ex-boyfriend. As soon as they approached him, he immediately said something about the fight they had been in, so clearly he wasn’t hiding anything. He said “is this about the fight that we got in?” Not “oh is this about Sally being dead or Sally being stabbed.” The investigator said the only logical way to go about the situation were to be to arrest the ex-boyfriend. Really? That is the only plausible way to go about things… Why not bring him in for questioning? Why make it so he is even more under suspicion from the public then he would be had he just been brought in for questioning. I’m not sure if there’s also some kind of record, an arrest record, but I’m sure there is. And then to keep him for 14 hours on top of that… I don’t know, I think that if they wanted to bring him in, no problem but I don’t understand the formal arrest just because he mentioned having a fight. There’s a big difference between a fight and a murder. A huge difference between getting in an argument and a stabbing. Just saying... 💔

I think you’re arrested so they can do the questioning, at the end of the questioning you’re either charged or released. They just needed to get the main suspect out of the way first. Remember a lot of cases are caused by people acting on high and intense emotion so when someone has admitted to arguing with a deceased victim, that would raise a red flag as there looks to have been anger and sadness involved which could be a reason to harm someone
@bluewolf993
@bluewolf993 4 жыл бұрын
That’s not enough to arrest someone. Or it shouldn’t be. I be insanely pissed if I was that guy. He should have lawyered up ASAP. To put this incident in perspective; the cops knock on your door, ask your name & about your sibling. You just got into a big fight with your brother/sister the night before at the mall so you both left separately instead of together as you’d planned. Because you’re young n stupid you figure someone complained about the fight so you ask about it. Next thing you know you’re in handcuffs with an officer telling you your sibling is dead.
