Santiago knows whatTom is laughing about, even before he explains it to the others. And Howard sticking his tongue out just makes it perfect.

cool to see Tom smiling .. cracking jokes.. he plays his character so well but refreshing to see his real personality. Love this show. its freakin perfect.

Over the decades I have seen so many, many incarnations of the Three Musketeers. This group, all four of them, is by far my most favorite. I only recently stumbled across the series (I was locked into Game of Thrones) and I find it very hard to leave the characters. Only three seasons!! So sad. The stories are well written and compelling. How I wish there were more seasons!

Well I am late to find out about this series and I have thoroughly loved it! 4 handsome young men, sword fighting, humor, romance, what's not to like? This series has made this old lady in Arizona very happy. Thank you to all involved!

ironic how athos is super serious and keeps his feelings close to himself yet the actor, tom, is the most playful of them all

I'm not surprised, usually, the character on screen is completely different from actor persona. Most actors look for roles different from themselves, that's the challenge. Wouldn't be very fun to portray someone as yourself.

His humor is still pretty dry, like Athos'. But he definitely laughs more than Athos…this is actually the first interview I've seen with Tom laughing

I absolutely adore this show. I love everything about it and I'm REALLY enjoying it so far, the actors are all brilliant, the costumes are fantastic, the story and script are amazing. Even the intro is colourful and exciting!!! *-*

Brandon Selke I think American T.V. shows are mostly cheesy. Terribly so in fact. I don't really see how the intro is cheesy, since it's meant to have that theme. The whole cavalier thing. But I guess you're not really into that scene and so it comes across as "cheesy" to you. You're entitled to your opinion and I respect that.

Jenny Glynn Brandon Selke Oh now, I must disagree with you there. Merlin and that earlier Robin Hood series, and heck, even Dr. Who to a large extent, are the HEIGHT of cheesy, though mostly the first 2 I mention. Speaking of Dr. Who, too bad we'll be losing Peter Capaldi (is that how it's spelled?) to Dr. Who. Really enjoy him as the cardinal. Regardless, there are some cheesy shows from both sides of the pond so seems odd to square up all American tv shows as cheesy. It actually is dependent on taste and the show's budget, truthfully speaking.

Love this interview, Athos is my favourite. He is so much more handsome when he laughs and smiles. The whole series is BRILL! from start yo finish. Come on BBC make more.

"You can't turn on a sixpence" Here in America we say turn on a dime. Really cool to hear British idioms. Also cool show i just discovered it and I really like it. Mainly the characters are very endearing and make me care about the stories they go through.

Now, you mention it. D'artangan does look like Conor. Oh sh*t, this really is The Assassin-Musketeers. In the 4th Episode, even the word Assassin is used.

OMG! And the Cardinal is the head of the Templar's oh some junk like that! Holy Crap, this is extremely Assassin's Creed-y. Porthos won't need a hidden blade though cause he's such a dang power-house. They probably wouldn't trust him with it, honestly, I'm surprised they even trust him with a gun! LOL

Always loved the book and this is my new favorite version. Has a little fresh take, good writing, intelligent acting, and the right training so that there is some realism to the fencing and riding. The riding is my 13 year old daughter's pet peeve...she has been riding precision mounted drill teams at speed, liberty and vaulting for 3 years so she can spot someone who is, as she says, faking it. The Musketeers pass her test. :)

Absolutely. I was snickering at all the shiny leather at first, but it looks to be bloody well done, actually, with dedicated and good acting, and fine writing. Plus, it's lovely to see the old swashbucklery make its way to amazing, modern TV, little of which is better made than at BBC/BBC America. At it very clearly is revised, in some senses, deconstructed and taken with an excellent, modern approach. Good stuff, BBC.
