The 22" grill surface is enough for just my family or for a good sized bbq! Very easy to assemble. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spring for the PREMIUM version that had the ash catcher, but it works GREAT and I'm VERY happy I decided to do so. Being that it's a charcoal grill the temp control is lacking compared to a gas grill, but you should know what you're in for if you're buying one.Overall this is a GREAT grill that I'm very happy to own and love using! Spring for the upgraded premium that has the ash catcher and the hinged grill grate so you can add charcoal if needed. It's more than worth it!

while many juicers CAN juice wheatgrass, the issue is that vertical juicers will CLOG with wheatgrass if juicing too much. This can cause catastrophic juicer failure (parts breakage) . As I show in this episode, the Nama J2 can easily juice wheatgrass in larger quantities when my specific techniques are used.

If I were going to regularly add wheatgrass to my juicing, I'd buy one of those office paper cutters. That much cutting with scissors would definitely lead to pain and fatigue.

I hope to test it soon. That being said, I believe the Omega Effortless Juicer is actually the Hurom H300 in other parts of the world, that Omega has the exclusive on in the USA. I have already compared it against the Nama J2 in the video at: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y9GYY6h1ptOodas.html It appears to be identical to me. Of the two, I prefer the Nama J2 , as it generally makes more yield, puts less pulp in the juice, is more trouble free, and Nama has better customer service than Omega based on my customer feedback.

Anyone else have a problem with the J2 juicing citrus? With me, the pulp backs up in the strainer bowl and back up from there into the feeder pitcher. So instead of a flow of juice I get steady drops. Takes too long. Also reassembly after cleaning, seems the augur doesn't slip easily back into the strainer. I have to play with it, turn it, jostle it, and sometimes it just won't go all the way down. Eventually it does, but makes me wonder if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks.

When Juicing citrus, its best to buy hard and firm citrus, it works better than softer citrus. Softer items can take alot longer to juice. If you mix 1/2 citrus with 1/2 jicama, or carrots or something like celery, the softer citrus will juice better with the more firm other vegetables. If you constantly have problems getting the auger back into the juicing screen (tough to go in) then contact Nama, they will likely replace the two parts which might be defective if they were not damaged.

I would not recommend that, it would mostly "beat up" the wheatgrass causing oxidative damage and not give nice pre-cut pieces.

I use both. I usually juice in the Nama J2 because its easier to juice in the Nama than the Dynapro. That being said, while I do not regularly make "vacuum juice" in the dynapro, I do blend smoothies, salad dressing, soups in the dynapro vacuum blender. I recommend purchasing both so you can benefit from both JUICES and blended smoothies, as well as other blended creations.

Ann Wigmore would say to drink it straight for the most benefits. For me personally, I would rather add it to other vegetables myself. That being said, if you wont drink it straight, but adding a lemon will get you to drink it, then I think that is better to add lemon.

I recommend growing it yourself. It is very easy. Look up videos here on KZfaq. Otherwise, find a local wheatgrass farm near you and order it by the flat. Some health food stores that sell fresh wheatgrass juice will also sell you flats of wheatgrass.

As I did mention in this episode, the Sana 727 would be a better choice for juicing wheatgrass. I do recommend the Sana 727 over the Nama J2 if your primary purpose is to juice wheatgrass. That being said, this shows how the Nama J2 CAN juice wheatgrass if you want to juice it,, and you will juice it on occasion or don't mind precutting your wheatgrass if you do want to juice whole flats like I show.

I’m noticing a theme with the Ann Wigmore diet. While it includes many healthy foods, it seems like a lot of the details such as “only drink wheatgrass alone” and “don’t eat fats with beans” are not based on any science at all. John, I hope you’ll do more to clarify what is evidence based and what isn’t.

My belief is that people should discover the way they best feel when they eat/mix certain foods, instead of being locked into any one "dogma" While science can tell us alot; I also believe that there are things science is unable to explain.

Pulp dryness (or wetness) is dependent on the specific item being juiced in the Nama J2 (or most juicers) For example, cucumber pulp will be more wet while celery pulp will be more dry. Certain style juicers are better or worse at extracting juice out of different produce items. Using The Pure Juicer ($2500) or Vacuum Juicing are the only two guaranteed ways to get pulp to a consistent dryness each and every time on most all produce items.

Wheatgrass can make some people sick when taken on an empty stomach. If that's how you normally drink it, next time try drinking it immediately after a small meal of fruit only. Since fruit digests quicker than anything it won't impede nutrient absorption. You shouldn't have that problem anymore then.

Squeeze lemon into it or chase it down with orange juice or eat orange slices right after drinking a shot of wheat grass. I personally don’t recommend drinking more than one ounce shot of wheatgrass…I wouldn’t drink an 8 ounce glass of it myself lol

(from france) i never drank Wheatgrass juice ( and hope can soon), but when i encouter those kind of problem making a green juice, just adding one or two apples makes it easy to drink.

Could be...1) Quality of the Wheatgrass. I have drank 2 oz shots with no problem from a Health Food Juice Bar, freshly cut. The next week, I bought Bagged Wheatgrass from Whole Foods, I threw up. 2) After "Quality" your body's particular toxicity could be the culprit. Are you new to Green juicing? Meaning you are likely to be very "acidic." Nausea can occur with other (solo shots of) strong green herbs as well like Cilantro. Stick with alternating between Green Juicing and pure Wheatgrass Shots. Consistency is key. You will beat the nausea eventually! Fyi...the Standard American Diet will work against the benefits of Wheatgrass juice. You can't clean your blood & Lymphatic system if eating a high acid diet. Much success!

J2 is not good for wheatgrass... less yield. disappointed

Really ? Have you done additional testing? please share your video comparisons! I find the Nama J2 did excellent on wheatgrass in terms of yield when properly precut. The pulp was almost as dry as a horizonal auger juicer would make. That being said a horizonal single auger juicer, such as the Sana 727 would be a better machine use to juice wheatgrass if wheatgrass is a primary item a person will be juicing.

You have to cut the wheatgrass not stick it in the Nama J2 as is like John did in this video.

I mostly consume wheatgrass by using a wheatgrass juice powder myself. Fresh wheatgrass juice is better than powder, but powder can fill a void. WHEATGRASS JUICE POWDER by terrasoul is a good brand I trust.

@@figtree393 very true I agree. That's why it would have to be top line stuff to get people to watch the full videos I was thinking 🤔like for example this video would just be that the wheatgrass and it's extra high/condensed quantity of nutrients / minerals and their quality/bioavailability
