If not this season, Kyrie will still be elite for another year or two at a minimum. He shows no sign of decline at this point. So yea, they might win a ring this season, next season, or the season after. There is still some time.

@@efeezy7770 he can be a great #1 but in this stage of his career, he prolongs his body by playing with Luka and bringing the ball less. He’s played way more games this year and has been extremely effective. I don’t know how many games you watched this year but Kyrie has had bad stretches scoring before they figured it out the last 2 months. His conditioning and level of play has been elevated right after all star break and this is because he doesn’t have a huge load on his shoulder. Kyrie played too little games with KD and Harden. He was carrying the Nets for a good while there. Kyrie is 32 now and playing with Luka just allowed him to extend his career more close to the height of his powers.

Dallas isn’t Flashy they play well within themselves it’s just “themselves” has a wide variety under control. Nobody closes out a quarter or a game like Luka or Irving their percentages go up when it’s time. Jokic is the only one similar. Kyrie can score 30/35 easily. If he is covered a whole game by a healthy Kawhi, it would make It 25/28 which is still great, but better for the opposite team.

Luka still doesn't do enough of the little things while Kyrie 's championship aura improves the entire team. The team does better with just Kyrie than with just Luka. There is a overwhelming evidence that Ky is the best player so you're gonna need more than simple counting stats

Washington will guard Kwahi, DJJ will guard PG. Green/Kleber can guard Harden and Russ. Gafford/Lively will guard Zubac. It ain't that hard. This is assuming that Kwahi even plays, which is a big assumption at this point. Not to mention you can't even use the season series as a measuring stick because the current Mavs team didn't play those games, as those games were played before the trades that brought Gafford and PJ.
