Thanks for the vid. I'm a new guitar player, and i'm wondering when you change chords do you lift your fingers at all? Or do you just keep em down n' slide on the strings?
@johnhuldt4 жыл бұрын
Definitely lift. But you don't need to lift a whole lot.

Is that a scalloped neck? or just the way the light is hitting the string? Always amazing and you always do amazing work, you've helped me to not be afraid to make the leaps and bounds, to play the songs ive always wanted to give a crack at. Every morning, I start my day with 45 minutes of watching stuff from you and doing my own thing. Also working on my physical fitness too so I guess I could say, you've helped me better my physical and musical- self. You've easily become my favorite. Whether its a song or a lesson, You explain everything so well lol

The last riff is what I am having trouble with. The tabs say go 5-4/3, 1 slide to 2nd fret then 3rd fret on the 6th string. This would be as many notes as the main riff except the bottom G note is on the first beat of the next measure. It seems like you skip the final pluck on the 5th fret of A string. Can I buy the tabs of how you play it?

At 2:51, I'm lost... I sure wish you would've said WHICH strings you're hitting with two fingers...

when did you get so strong ?

Been lifting weights for about 16 years. That helped a lot haha.

Not easy to play slowly with all those hammer-ons and pulloffs. Hybrid picking is so useful.
@johnhuldt Жыл бұрын
I think it's the only way to do it!
