This is some GREAT playing. We all know there is no best guitarist. But if there was...it would be Brad Paisley :-) Your cover is just as good as his playing and I don't throw compliments like that around often. Well done!

lol yeah, i play a lot lol. It’s a pine body so it’s a soft wood, have another pine guitar and it did the same thing.

Are you finger picking or plucking any of these notes?

Yes, it’s a technique called chicken picking or hybrid guitar picking. You use a guitar pick and your fingers at the same time!

@@BrianPoston I’m really wanting to learn chicken picking but I don’t know how to tell which notes are plucked and which are picked, is there a rule to it like top two strings only are picked or do you just discern it by ear, or is there another way?

@@vrennonica5725 there is a lot of answers to that question lol. It all depends on the music! Just KZfaq chicken picking guitar lessons, I’m sure it would put you in the right direction! I am also a guitar teacher if your interested in personal instruction!

No not on that guitar, wrote it out for a normal 6 string player. Just have to do some behind the nut bends to get a few of those licks.

Are you playing the acoustic intro the same way as the tab? I keep going over it and it seems your playing is different from the tab. I can do the basic lick but I just can't get this part right so far.

@@BrianPoston Your playing is incredibly precise so no way is it sloppy at all. It's just me being new at reading tabs and finding out that at least for me country guitar is so much harder than rock or blues. 👍🏻
