Asus has vacated support for prior models and are nowadays concerned newest models. Look at the T100han transformer which has x5-z8500 chipset but the drivers on their web turns out to be for x- 3700 and fails to install. Can they revice all the online support resources after all every new laptop will grow old. They should be like Dell and HP when it comes to resource management.

Because of mentioning glass cover, I assume that the screen is glossy and is much more reflective than a mate screen? 2. Nothing was said about upgradability 😕 I presume that the RAM is soldered, there is no additional SODIMM slot, and there is only one M.2 slot? 3. Launching a laptop in May when AMD revealed their new CPUs back in winter and coming to the stores probably by autumn or holiday season is the biggest tech fail. Waiting for almost 1 year to get a laptop and seeing right after that 7000 series are launching, worse that could happen to me. Look at apple, wwdc ended and in July already starting m2 macs to come in stores

I just got this laptop and the audio is tinny and very low. There has to be something I'm missing here. The drivers are up to date, but its still horrible. When I put my ear or finger up to the speakers themselves, I hear and feel nothing. My cheapo laptop thats on its last legs sounds better than this by a country mile. Any thoughts guys?

I bought a zenbook deluxe 3 about 3.5 years ago. I already have the third display because they screwed up their design and the flat cable that connects the display with the mainboard stops working. Even worse is the fact that after one and a half year they changed my display but refused to replace it after it was not working anymore one year later. I had to replace it by my self. Do not buy their Zenbooks and safe your self from disappointing product quality and even worse support.

16:9 should be banned from the whole company's product line for humanitarian reasons... It's like shipping a laptop in 2022 without Type-C charging... Oh wait

No Oled, no 16:10, no strong gpu and no USB 4.0, this is e-waste.

The battery capacity and video card are huge disappointments… overall, if it will be priced at $2k at most, I will probably buy it.

This is "Vaporware" so far. While the presentation is all I would like to have in a new 17" touch laptop working from home with a great webcam, so far this is all vaporware and not real. This was posted some time ago and there is no mention of this on the website and, the only mention on the site is "learn more". Asus, release the product or take down this fake presentation.

Bruh, all that excitement about a laptop that doesn't even have 4K screen (so plugging it into 4K monitors you will only be able to push out 2.5K resolution? Do you realize how crap that looks like when you have to adjust a 4K monitor's resolution down to 2.5K? LOL... I guess not, but I can't wait to see people disappointed by this once they try). And that battery probably lasts like the rest of ASUS laptop batteries - some 3-4 hours max, under normal usage and not those "special conditions" that ASUS tests them on - dimming the screen down to 10% (who the hell can even see anything on 10%), turning off WiFi, Bluetooth, everything, and playing some 480p video on repeat until the laptop dies. Yeah, I can squeeze out 10 hours on any laptop on the planet under those conditions. That's why this review is as useless as ASUS' own promo video - doesn't say anything about real life usage of this. It just lists out the bullet points from the spec sheet. Oh, and last but not the least, should we even bother mentioning the most useless support among any laptop retailers out there? Yeah, if ANYTHING goes south on your new laptop, good luck... that warranty is VERY limited.

POS been waiting forever and still no 32GB option, and can't upgrade the ram it seems. This is a joke. I would have been the first person to get a non-mac laptop at my company IF it had 32GB of ram (our company only uses MACBOOK PRO, but I was the one to change that) . I would also buy an UM6702 for myself if it has the 32GB option. I am a lifelong ASUS laptop user, I've purchased over 10 laptops over the years. WTF doesn't this have 32GB option? 16GB is pure crap. You're selling this laptop with 8GB ram? WTF? 16GB of ram? What is this for? running DOSBOX? where TF is the 32GB of RAM. This product would be great if it has 32GB of RAM. I am a dev. I mainly work in Linux (dual boot) and use Windows for personal sometimes.
