the pricetag is insane, and absolutely not justified. At this point, its all a big money grab scheme.

I should have kept it in the video, but I edited out the product breakdown. It’s almost to full price of each item, with a few extra bucks for the black edges and packaging, I’m sure. But I see where you are coming from. Just a repackage of the same stuff.

Since that pen is so small I would put the pen loop at the top of the notebook. Keeps it out of the way for both lefties and righties.

I love this set. I have been scared to try these notebooks since I use my fountain pens in my journals. I just bought an A5 grid, tomoe Sanzen notebook from Goulet Pens and I love it.

The 120gsm paper is good for fountain pens and I also used the standard paper for a short while, but yeh, 120 gsm is good 👍🏻

I would devote the whole set of booklets to take on the go and set up as a future log (4 months per booklet) and use the excess pages as a capture tool ala gtd

Drehgriffel is drEHgrifflel (eh like a canadian). Dreh means "turn/twist" so it's a twist-stick, which is what it does :)

Wish I had gone with the Bullet Journal this year, am now in my third STM and they have made changes I do NOT like so will be switching to Bullet Journal next time. But not this version LOL, too pricey for me. The X is fine.

Would have been great if they just had all the pages in black paper. I'm a huge fan of black page notebooks scribbles that matter makes a great one.

I like the look of the stealth edition, but having a few other official bujo notebooks at home together with a pen would make the purchase duplicate and with the painful price point. I wish they invested into the other notebook sized instead (I love the Leuchtturm B6 plus), but that may happen in the future...

I used to love the original bullet journal's minimalistic attributes, but I guess it does not apply to the price point throughout it's range. It is quite expensive to be organised based on this. For me, this will be affordable to those who are well-to-do. So in the end, people like me will have to stick to any regular notebook and use the bullet journal method in there. A very sleek look though. So cool! May all who get it enjoy🤗

The method existed way before the notebook. No need to feel like you're supposed to stick to bullet journal branded notebooks I agree with you about the price and look. Too expensive for me. I'm not interested in their pen. There are many cheaper notebooks with colored or patterned edges. Pen loops are super cheap.

As a kit, I agree, it’s a lot - but I’d probably still pay for the notebook alone. I do like the black edges and the new quick guides are nice.

I think for A5 that might be a little tight - personally I dont know if i'd go that thin.

Very slick and desirable. Last time I [foolishly] invested in a Leuchtturm, I couldn’t use my fountain pens in it: hugely disappointed. I wouldn’t risk it again. 🙁

Understood. I've had good success with my pens in these journals. I personally dont love the ghosting that happens, but not a lot of major issues. Have you tried the 120gsm paper notebooks yet?

Thanks for your reply. I haven’t tried any other. To be frank, I tend to stick with Archer and Olive or Scribbles that Matter, both of which I can rely on for fountain pen use. I am in the north of England and I really enjoy your channel after recently subscribing. Thanks. 😀

What a rip off. I am going to say what you didn' or no one else seems to realise here. I'm in the UK and that set is £20 dearer than the same items bought from the same shop. All they have done is black the page edges and make a black pen and charging over the top for it. So why would you buy it? Where is the incentive? And that's coming from a big stationery addict. Weird...... Good video Mark, thx for sharing 😄
