I watched the whole video, took notes on all the parts I was excited about, and then looked to see when this video was released to get an idea of how far along in the series you might have released and then I saw this video was released 1 hour ago. Omg. Im so hyped for this series!!!

Oh man this is amazing. Thank you for making this, I got introduced to you because of GameDevTV and I really like your style of teaching. This course seems like it'll go a lot more in depth so after I finish up that one I'm really eager to check this one out! As a fellow Stephen (spelled PH, the right way!) I thank you lol.

Dangit Stephen. I just finished your UE4 course haha. I still bought this course tho because there are so many exciting UE5 things that I haven't learned about yet! You're also my favorite game dev teacher, so I couldn't pass up on this! Also, I think it's really nice that you have a section dedicated to vector math, covering things like dot/cross product. Really important stuff.

Got a question about this course. For the AI part of it, the way it's set up, is it only for like single players? What I mean is if I wanted like an AI ally, would the system in place take them into account too or would all enemies always automatically go for me and ignore the ally?

Hi Stephen, love all your content. I'd like you to consider creating content about 'Game Features' and 'Modular Gameplay'. Making use of data-driven dynamic widgets that display info from various Game Feature plugins, etc. Epic uses these features in Lyra and Fortnite but their documentation is really poor for a beginner like me. I'd be very quick to buy such content on a platform like Udemy :).

1) Hi does this "Action-RPG" Style "Open World" course cover "GAS" and "World Partition" then? I did not see it listed or even mentioned. 2) Will you be adding updates to changes to Unreal 5.1 which is now officially out? 3) To be honest Sam's Crypt Raider example left a bad taste in mouth when trying to block out levels using that free marketplace asset for a number of reasons. I found it incredibly frustrating. It looks like you are using the same asset pack. I really liked your ToonTanks example btw. 4) Will you be covering any post performance analysis to make the game less janky? Thank you so much for your high-quality and detailed work. I am already looking forward to your multiplayer course!
@DruidMechanicsGameDevelopment
@DruidMechanicsGameDevelopment Жыл бұрын
Hey Tomo! I'm working on a separate course all about GAS. It's a big subject and this course already covers a ton! Yes as they need arise. The dungeon was used to teach level instancing, to show how to get a full level into another level. You can literally use any asset pack you want. I don't know what you mean by "janky." I'll say this: the course teaches you Unreal Engine C++ by creating a cool project. It's not a complete RPG as the course would be unrealistically long. You learn a lot and the project used to teach you it is RPG in nature. We learn ways to refactor code and decouple classes, as well as improve combat with new features, and for a 52+ hour course the amount of information is very comprehensive.
