What is the best long range antenna for the Dogtra Patfinder system, sir? On top of a truck?

any of our long range antennas will help. But for maximum range yes, you would want to look at a mag mount antenna.

I would say expect comparable range to the original however its hard to compare to a system that may have been having issues.

what if you're somewhere with no cellphone signal, will the app still work and track ?

as he said - even where there is no smoke signal. You download the maps beforehand. The collar works via satelite for GPS and transmits info to handheld receiver via radio signal - not cell signal. That is transmitted from receiver to phone via bluetooth. No signal required.
