Nice video Tudor!... If I already had an x-pro3 do you recommend an x100vi for a second camera? (Im thinking to buy a Voightlander 27mm)

Feel noise handling on the X100VI is better than X-H2, with XF 27mm f2.8 WR

I was interested in this camera, but after a bit of research I found quite a few gotchas that stopped me from getting one: 
 Outdated lens with loud/slow focusing (audible if recording video), cannot resolve 40MP wide open, 35mm f/3 FF equivalent so no selfies or landscape or wildlife, a bit tight indoors, limited background separation in full body or even portrait, lower dynamic range than an iPhone 15Pro (tested by CINED), poor-ish low light performance, noisy sensor, no flip screen, poor battery life so you have to buy/bring spares (and potentially remove the tripod plate to swap each time), not great for videography (massive crop in 4k60 or 6.2k, awful rolling shutter, no 3.5mm mic input, ports block grip, drop in dynamic range in higher resolutions), subpar autofocus (improved but far from Sony/Canon), slow performance with film simulations, low resolution hybrid evf, no lens hood / ability to add filters / weather sealing / grip without additional costs, etc, etc. It’s not for me but it is a very pretty camera :) - I had an X-T3 and X-S20 which I loved, but since trying Sony full frame (ZV-E1), there's no going back, the jump in quality, usability, convenience is immense.

I’m going to change from Fuji to full frame and which full frame system do you recommend? Nikon z7ii , Sony A7iv, or canon r6ii ?

The noise on low light looks pretty pleasant

I have just went back and looked over my x100v files also edited in lightroom and the results are way better than what your getting here. Bad copy maybe ??

Tudor, I used (and loved) an X100T for more than six years. First impression --- I was *not* impressed with the look (at 100%?) of the RAW files. Now I'll spend a few minutes doing the same rapid deep-dive pixel-peeping of files from my X100T and other Fuji bodies. Sold the X100T months ago to be ready to adopt a V or a VI. I'm now waiting for my VI to join my other Fuji bodies/lenses: X-Pro2, X-T2, X-H1, and still an X-Pro1 and Sony A7r4 body with some glass. Maybe the You-Tube compression poorly served Fuji's quality. Maybe you (or a different photographer who shot these?) has a bad copy (also not a good thing to discover...) Perhaps I will purchase and experiment with a full frame small camera that will not be as evocative of past rangefinder experiences as my black X100 rig -- but serviceable as an every day carry street capture machine. A7CII? As a 1967 to 1992 Leica M2 user back in the day I'd be sad not to have that evocative X100 experience "seeing" while out and about with an excellent tool right in hand.

I’m yet to find a fujifilm lens that is capable of resolving the 40mp sensor of my X-T5, in the same way that a Leica lens resolves on the Q2/Q3. 40mp may be too much for an APS-C sensor, but let’s see what the future holds.

Capture one is better with fuji files in my experiance. Buy I think you just saved me a lot of money :) maybe I'll buy it later down the line when the hype dies or 100F / V . BTW it seems to be a theme , they keep the lenses a bit too long. On the 100T the lense performed well , then on the F (same lense) it was too soft . Then the 100V got a new lense , now with the Vi it's the same lense so soft again , so just buy every other generation of X100 . maybe the X100 VII would have a better lense :)

It's obvious that the lens cannot resolve a 40mp sensor.

To get the absolute best out of Fuji, you need to shoot JPG. If you have a RAW workflow, Fuji is not a good fit. RAW files are super soft in LR and once you start adding sharpening, the image falls apart. The lens can’t resolve the 40MP. Your images demonstrate that.

Most of the tic toc generation don't give a damn about the lens sharpness.I cancelled mine already 2 weeks ago.

These images look a little boring like 27 2.8 images. I am not sure but it seems that the fuji 23 2.0 wr gives more interesting images.

The hype is too much, where I am scalper resell the unit for around $3000

Thanks for that video. Great camera, but the lens doesn't perform as well. Unfortunately the lens cannot be exchanged. There are better offers out there.

Disappointing. Fuji appear to be on a downward trajectory.

15 megapixels would be plenty on a APSC point and shoot camera. It is the equivalent of about 30 megapixels on full frame. The X100 VI has the equivalent of 90 megapixels on full frame. This is marketing crap. Fujifilm is taking advantage of people’s ignorance.
