The new hire at my work is my college bully who took me on a fake date and used it as a chance to record me as a creep trying to prey on her, should I use this as a chance to tell HR? Plus three updates.

Now THAT is a company that knows how to treat its employees. No bullshit, no power plays, no giving into preconceptions and stereotypes. Good on OPs supervisor, HR department and company for taking the appropriate action and being so professional

It probably helps that his opening dialogue with HR screamed, "I have already contacted a lawyer about this, but am not mentioning him yet because that's not where I want it to go." Any HR that picked up on the coaching on what to say would want to resolve things fast before they became anything.

OP handled this whole mess absolutely perfectly. He literally did everything right by providing both a lawyer as well as his manager and HR evidence of Krista's past bullying as a heads up so they knew to look out for any potential issues. Issues that Krista promptly provided just days later. Then the doorbell camera video to top it off. And he never engaged with her when she tried to talk to him at his home.

the fact it was to organized probably hinted to hr that Op had a lawyer or was being helped to inform them properly plus she was a new hire and literally spreading rumors and data breach she would not be worth the headache.

She's 33 years old and yet... even when hauled in front of HR on her first week, she can't go another week without doing exactly what HR told her not to do. Worse, knowing that he went to HR, she was warned, and she was warned a second time... her solution is to get OPs address from work and go to his house? If he went to HR over harassment over a decade ago, she can't figure that he'd going to contact HR if she shows up at his house. I'm also trying to imagine any future employer... "Well, you have an impressive resume and interview, but when we contacted your former employer they said they fired you within three weeks because you harassed an employee -- gossiped about him despite a warning not to, used your position in the company to get his address, showed up at his house, and then even after being fired you showed up at his house and he had to call the police and have a lawyer threaten a restraining order on you. Can you start the week after never?"
