1200 RPM? Good lord, a full mag dump is less than four seconds, and if you've got yourself on target even half the time you've shredded whatever you're pointing at.

I hate that the MG doesn't have a reticle in 3rd person view, it's the only reason why i'm not using it.

Heavy Machine gun is F-tier imo. Extreme recoil. AWFUL magazine capacity. Fucking thing looks like it should (and it should) hold more like 200 to 400 rounds. Only holds 2 mags. AWFUL. Makes you REQUIRE the ammo pack or else you're out of ammo in but a minute or 2. Should hold 4 to 7 mags due to its ammo consumption. Slow, stationary reload that makes 0 sense considering the pitiful mag size. An animation you'll be stuck doing more than fighting... No 3rd person crosshairs. It's unusable. Needs completely reworked imo.

Can't stand the fake hype on every Helldivers 2 clip 😂 it's mid, and so many of the weapons are still horribly balanced. Still crashes regularly on console n they want praise for releasing more awful gear. Quasar cannon is good for bots I guess

The Heavy MG is probably the worst support weapon - ridiculous recoil, wild sway, very small magazine for the rate of fire, NO reticle in third person. It’s an unruly mess of a gun and I can’t think of a situation where it would be the right choice.

For some reason this makes a good portable aa gun for those automaton attack gunships. And if you have a ballistic shield on your back while prone, it makes you much harder to kill.

Even while prone the recoil is heavy i recommend a armour piece that has the reduce recoll when crouched or prone by 30%

This is one of the rew times I'm going to have to disagree with you. I played with the new MG for hours last night and did not like it against the bots. Sure, it shreds, but that's when you hit. The smaller targets and them staying static st distance causes a lot of misses. However, with the bugs, with them closing the distance and wanting to be in melee, you set up and just destroy lines off the bigger bug. Don't waste the shots on the small ones. Tap fire with sidearm, then unleash hell on warrior of bigger.

I have tried to use the HMG and tbh it sucks you are out of ammo before you can say democracy, damage sucks and its mag size is laughable. The HMG emplacement or even the mg 43 both do everything better imo.

This MG is universally hated and is just not a good weapon. Look at other KZfaqrs, forums, and discord. It’s just an all around bad weapon while the QC is a solid weapon.

This heavy machine gun honestly is extremely weak. The illegal broadcast towers can be taken out by one single auto cannon round, but an entire mag from this gun won't blow it up.

I love going machinegun+supply pack, and i didnt like this gun at all. No 3rd person aiming and ammo runs out very fast. Re loading time is a nightmare on harder difficulties. Devs should make the ammo high armor piercing level so it will be a antitank weapon equivalent
