There was a time the government wanted to stop the yellow buses...

VibrantZee... They need to Go!!! Those Yellow Buses MUST go! To me, they represent poverty and stagnation!! Not to mention the complete disregard that the elites in government have for the masses/electorate by allowing their constituents to travel in such extremely dangerous transportation!!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!

​I get your point, but sincerely I personally disagree with you on that poverty and stagnation part. I don't think it represents that, each states have their color for general transportation, even abroad sef like new York, they have their colour. I just feel like instead of dem focusing on blue brt buses.. They can also do an upgrade on these yellow buses. Buy new mini buses, customize it in yellow and sell it out at discounts to those interested to gradually replace these old yellow buses

@@VibrantZee Why I said poverty and stagnation is that these are the exact same buses I entered as a young teenager! It's not the colour,I am on about, it's the age of the vehicles! As a young child, they were called "Kia Kia" buses and were only considered as a stop gap while Lagos worked on the Municipal buses! They eventually turned out to be our main source of transport in Lagos and acquired the name Danfo!! Now these "Fedeco" and Kombi buses are no longer being manufactured! They have not been in manufacturing for over 40 years!! And these yellow Danfo buses are the exact same ones plying the roads of Lagos and other cities for close to 50 YEARS!!! They no longer have any spare car parts, so these battered scrap-worthy contraptions are nothing but death traps on wheels! The careless and reckless state of these shabby vehicles seems to fuel the mindless violence and extortion subculture of Agberos and Area Boys as an attendant problem! Together they create the mayhem and the chaos and the confusion on the streets of Lagos! The stress to the mental health of the majority of Lagosians is immense! The government should regulate and mandate all these car park unions into some sort of agreement program to supply them with brand new Nord or Innoson vehicles..Nigerian made cars . Lagos in particular has made some obvious strides over the years , but the sight of these Danfos ( and Okadas) blight the landscape! I would like for there to be newer cleaner buses regardless of the colour, but with more government intervention and regulations !! Yes!🙌🏾 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!

​@VibrantZee they already have flm buses which are minibuses found at train stations to take u inside town however selling it to individuals that won't maintain it will still look ugly
