I am truly appreciating your unbiased review of the Cook-it-All. But you seem to be getting a grip on it quickly! Those steaks looked perfectly cooked, with beautiful grill marks. At a 14 inch diameter, it makes sense that it will need a lot of heat.

Y’all are so well behaved with your low carb. Me and my hubs...not so much😂. We are roasting a chicken on our lanai (which is exactly like yours). Using Seminole swamp seasoning too! Going to roast vegetables (including potatoes) to go with it. Putting the Seminole swamp seasoning on vegetables also. We can’t stop!!!!

Awesome dish, and beautiful steak! Btw I often cook cabbage in my smoker or grill it and I usually coat it in olive oil but recently my brother has turned me onto using grapeseed oil for grilling. Because of the higher temperature range and I found out that I can grill fish better over a fire without it sticking to the grill grate. So speaking of oil, btw, canola oil cannot be good for you since I've found out that they literally use paint thinner to extract it from the rapeseed plant it comes from. I only use it for starting a fire in my Weber chimney now. I found out also the grapeseed oil is great on steaks as well. Anyway, great video, and great combo.

Most Canola oil is also derived from GMO plants. I stopped using it for anything other than seasoning my cast iron. Thanks for watching. I have used grapeseed oil a lot on this channel. We even deep fry in it sometimes.

I thought Canola oil was corn oil...canola / corn??? Although modern canola oil may be made from cardboard, in California?

I just rematched the lodge video. The square stock trivet? I have made better trivelts with a welder and rebar. I don't see the advantage of it. If you shop the firplace section of the big box hardware store. They have stuff like that . You can take one that is close make a few cuts and weld it to suit your needs. For far less cash outlay. I have their folding trivets. Those are adequate and work for what they are intended. To keep the camp oven lid out of the dirt when cooking or to get some height out of the fire.

I guess I’m late for dinner. How about camp cooking. If you had the Sportsman grill and that griddle sitting on top would you get enough heat to make a bacon and egg breakfast. I know you said it wants lots of heat but.......

Past the lodge “hype” I’m hearing this item is a poor replacement for the 14” shallow camp oven. With the upmost respect, it is not worth $130 clams and freight for something the old 14” shallow did much cheaper. IMO it is a solution to a problem that did not exist.

The stand is made in China, tap welded screws and one broke when I tightened the bolts, going to have to drill it out and put an iron bolt and nut through the stand arm, find something else like a couple of logs.

That new Lodge Cook-it-all just doesn't seem like a good deal for outdoor charcoal cookware. It would be okay with a propane camp stove or oven. I know it sure wouldn't take the place of a Dutch Oven ot a 12" skillet with a lid.
