No, Harry Potter had new books being released as they made the films creating a feedback loop of hype kept alive by the previous movies airing on cable tv ensuring the largest audience possible while also having tie in video games. This show can be better while not being anywhere near as popular because it's locked behind a streaming service with little else to tie into.

Some fair points, but if the series keeps up this insanely high qaulity and we see a large spike in the book sales, those ties ins may just start happening naturally!

@@TheCharacterSheet what quality? Nobody has even seen the show yet, so we don't know if it's good or bad or mediocre. HP films were not the most faithful to the books but they at least tried with the casting, this TV show visually changed too many characters but that's nothing new with Disney production.

The Annabeth cap is the one thing I feel doesn't fit for a black annabeth. IDM if you make her black, but they needed to keep the cap idea but change it from a cap. Something as simple as a bandana or something. Caps damage afro hair and I truly feel like annabeth wouldn't wear one if she was written as black originally. This is a criticism I only have because as a black dude that DOES NOT care for my 4c hair as I should, I know an annabeth like character would shit on how I treat my hair.

Bro where did you learn that from. Its a hat her hair isn’t gonna fall out because she wore a hat. Also her hair is in braids which are a protective style. Her hair is fine. Im black and have curly hair yet i still wear normal hats. It’s really not that big of a deal.
