Hi thanks for great video. As you know we have 2 months cooling off period once our contract is over with previous employer. Once I apply for visa to update this 2 month period is already over or it will be done once I have my visa approval? Because even to get a decision will take 6-8 weeks.

Hiya So you need to get your visa submitted within that 2 months. Even if you submit your new visa application in the last day of the 2months, you are good 👍🏾

2 things btw, 1. Scanning the BRP chip via immigration app DOES NOT work on iPhones. Only works on Android (I know, weird) 2. Question - "Do you need a Health and Care Visa" - Answer is NO(if you are in Tech roles)

Dependents may not necessarily update at the same time as when the main applicant switches the employer but they must update or switch before their visas from the main applicant previous employer expires.

If you’ve been in the UK on the same visa for a year before, you won’t need proof of payment and all that when applying to update your visa. Your new employer may ask for your certificates tho

I got the email from the home office of payment being successful in terms of the visa also stating that I do not need to provide evidence based on my answer. It said that press 'confirm and submit' button if I have not already done so however when I got back to the form it shows that form has already been submitted however there was just that ;payment successful' email furthermore there is also the green provide evidence button is it a generic button and do I need to provide any evidence if the email doesn't mention it. Would really appreciate if I can get some clarity.

Good Job, if main applicant visa was more than 3 years before and switched to a new employer with 2-3 years visa do the dependants need to update their visa's because the old visa update they were having is 5years

Though have gone to see my GP and they did test for me for and said they will contact me if anything and up till now nothing. Hi , I am looking for some solution of one problem. Can you please help me if you can ? I came to UK with Tier 2 General Visa sponsored by NHS BARTS , recently we have been TUPED (Inter transfer within same trust) to NHS Business Service Authority. Two days back i received mail from Home office to exit the country by July 8 2023 , because my visa is not associated with any sponsor and previous sponsor BARTS has informed about the cancellation to home office . I have tried to reach my new HR team(NHS BSA) with this problem and they shared a document with new COS number and a letter from home office sent to NHS BSA having confirmation that i have been TUPED from BARTS to AGEM. My question is how can i inform home office about all these and update my sponsor details in home office portal ? Can you please help me on this ?

I haven’t thought of this o. I’m not sure if that option is available. If not, you should be able to change it via the couriers website. This happens when they miss you at delivery. They’ll ask you to go online and reschedule

Hi! I want to work in the UK for 5 years on Tier 2 visa to get an indefinite leave to remain. Do I have to work with the same employer to get this? Or for example, if I worked with my first sponsored job for 2 years and then changed my job, started working in a new place; does it count as the 3rd year to get my residence permit or does the process of working for 5 years starts again from the beginning? I don't want to waste my years by changing employers in that case. Hope my question makes sense:)

Update your iOS Better still go back to the application, and pick that you don’t have a phone that can do that. So you’ll have to go for a physical appointment for your biometrics

Hi, A friend has been in the Uk for about 3 years on a skilled worker visa, she applied to a schegen country and Ireland for holiday during this 3 years but she didn't get any of the visas. She is about to switch employer now to Health and Care Visa and she is afraid she might not get it because of the other countries that have denied her Tourism visas. What would you advise?

No. However, if you’ve stayed under one year in the UK and your new employer is not sponsoring your maintenance, they might ask you to present proof of funds

Hi, i have been in the UK for 8 months without working for my employer cos she had no job, she could have removed the sponsorship but she didnt. she instructed me to notify her once i get another COS, so she can remove her own. My question now is.... Do i need to tell her first that im about to switch or just apply first and when i get my decision then tell her afterwards.

Either way works. But to be on the safe side, i think you should process the new COS first.

Please do you login in your previous uk.gov page and you create a new page when you change your employer. And also if u were married the first time and and now divorced before changing your employer?

Once you input your email, you’ll be able to continue in your previous account. If not, you can create a new one. You can update your marital status in the process before you submit application

your dependant are not changing their visas for this type of visa. if it is visa extension, then yes your dependants will also extend their visa but you will have to register and pay for them separately.

About 6 weeks to get decision. You should tell your new employer and they’ll probably ask you to let them know once visa decision is out.
