കെയർ ഹോം ജോലി ചെയ്യാൻ നേഴ്‌സുമാർ ഉണ്ട് ബ്രോ അവിടെ. പഠിക്കാൻ പോയാൽ പഠിക്കുക. പഠനകാലാവധി കഴിയുമ്പോൾ ജോലി ആരംഭിക്കുക. നാല് വർഷം ഇവിടെ നേഴ്സിംഗ് പഠിച്ച് പാസായ certifficates ഉം കൊണ്ടാണ് അവർ അവിടെ പോയി carer ആയി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. അവിടുത്തെ ഭരണാധികാരികൾ താങ്കൾ ചിന്തിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കും എന്ന് കരുതിയോ?

I believe the minimum requirement of £38,700 for dependents is not additional, it's total household income. And it looks like it's applicable to everyone including British citizens. So, it might be applicable to nurses too. From what understand, all individuals on skilled worker visa (i.e individusls with income >£38,700) should be able to bring dependants. Edit: i was wrong. The £38,700 is the limit for family visa, which is for British citizens. All skilled workers except care workers are eligible to bring dependants. Along with this, PhD students and some other students (eg students in govt sponsored programs) can also bring dependants.

@@views774As far as I understand, this is not true. The worst we can say is that it's unclear. The income limit applies to spouse and family visa. It's a visa scheme that allows British citizens and individuals with settled status to bring their partners/family to the UK. It's not certain if it may apply to the dependents of individuals on skilled worker visa. It may not and here's why: 1) It was not explicitly stated in the announcement by home sec. 2) it was explicitly stated that care workers won't be allowed to bring dependants. This clause won't be necessary if the income limit is set to £38,700 as the median income for care workers is £23,500. 3) The UK has a shortage of skilled workers in health and social care. Nurses have a median salary of roughly £35,000. Not allowing nurses to bring dependants will make the UK an unattractive prospect for a lot of nurses. This is also true for postdoctoral researchers, teachers, and individuals in other skilled jobs where there are labour shortages.

I married her and she came over to Britain before this new crap law from the British government was declared by our wanker Home Secretary, when the income requirement for me was only roughly £18,600. My wife had a job offer from a British company, but they didn't take that into consideration. My wife earns over £60,000 by herself. My understanding is that now my wife is in Britain, when it comes to renewing her visa in a few years time, the Home Office will consider our combined income and not mine alone.

Shajan I think you misinterpreted the law. The carers who are already here in UK or if their CoS issued before the implementation of new law, then the restrictions wont be applied. The new law doesn't take away the benifits and contractual obligations of the state. Also if the visa extension after 3 years will be as per the old law.
