This video shows two Daystate Red Wolf's, one in .177 and one in .22 belonging to Rob Taylor and Dave Oldham. A great rifle in either calibre.

Thanks, Mark... you did a Great Job of filming, even with your Mobile Phone.... Great editing too. And that was the first time I'd shot it... the barrel is not even leaded in and I only fitted the scope last night and zeroed at 20yards before you started filming.

Mentioned it on the HOT AIR show about the battery situation a while ago ... Hell's bells my Mk4 and the Airwolf have a lovely push in connector takes 5 seconds ...

People keep saying the red wolf is a big step up from the mk4is the charger isn't lol I'm sticking with my mk4

The problem with the initial development of these rifles was that Tony wasn't around at the point of the battery connection design, or it would have been better. I expect a better connector will be available when the Mk2 models come out, and when they do your rifle will probably get an upgrade when its serviced. Most first runs on new rifles have teathing problems and that is probably the only teathing problem with this rifle, which is probably one of the best so far from Daystate.

Hello Peter, the shooting rest belongs to Dave Oldham, but a quick search on the internet at Uttings shows what it is. Sorry but the battery charger is not an issue, had you been playing with model helis and other RC toys previously it would have taken you all of 3 seconds to work out!

I know what you mean. They are expensive, but with one of these, you wouldn't need anything else. They seem perfect. It's a shame they didn't put a bit more thought into the charging system connectors.

The reason you cannot charge when it is installed in the gun it’s because Of the heat generated when chargingPersonally I would rather remove it than risk any heat damage Or even It Catching on fire
