I absolutely love Corporate Mundo's lore. Its basically everything in this video except he gets bored and decides he wants to run a business doing basically exactly what he does now except under a buisnessman guise and because he's in Zaun, it works out perfectly and be owns a fortune 500 company

The augments on Mundo's body may not be from his time at the asylum. He was an enforcer AKA muscle for hire, and those implants are clearly boosting his physical prowess, as he doesn't move when CC hits him. My take is that the implants were grafted on to him for his former job. Also, Mundo picking them back up when he loses them could just be force of habit.

So basically any new Champion or VGU will just roast seraphine

Is it me that thinks Singed most likely has everything to do with the Purple Liquid? Just like Warwick, but instead of green, now it made it purple and its a bit better. Just like Mundo, Warwick lost his memories too. And gained super strength.

I wonder what they’ll do with his login theme. It would be cool if they use different instruments and just combine them together in a way that makes music sound chaotic, while still containing some kind of horror feeling, like they did with Fiddlesticks.

Feels unreasonably critical tbh. The mystery of "who is mundo and where did he come from" wasn't a compelling one because everyone could just assume he was from Piltover or Zaun. Now we know for sure and it fits into the Zaun and Piltover theme very well.

I thought they were gonna link him to the crazy scientist like this was the experiment that he was trying to work towards, His end goal, his requiem.

I once had an idea for a story that could drag Mundo into bigger events in Zaun. It involves Mundo encountering Warwick, who Mundo assumes is sick with some sort of hair disease and he attempts to treat him. This leads to the two monsters of Zaun fighting, but ends with them both walking away, and Warwick telling Mundo of Singed. He tells Mundo of the man who made him this way, a man who delights in making other people sick in horrible ways. This of course makes Mundo angry, so he sets off to kill Singed.

Soooooooo, when are we gonna learn why Mundo has that sick fade. I need the lore for his haircut.

Mundo: *wears straitjacket* Mundo: Ah, yes, this means that I have a PhD and licensed to cure what seems to be my patients. Faultless logic.

Mundo can read it as Mundo just like how Deadpool knows he's in a comic. I believe he's supposed to be leagues Deadpool nothing is supposed to really make sense just enough sense to keep the character fresh.

I like to think that Mundo's lore is in a similar category to Samira, where even though it's stuck in place, it's the perfect excuse for them to show up anywhere at anytime. Mundo could be in a story involving Cammile, Ekko, Singed, or any other Zaunite because just goes where he pleases.

I only recently got into LoL lore and even more recently into the game but I can safely say I’m on my way to devouring every story by this channel.

Possibly his future story will tie into Jinx and the new Zaun character. Maybe with Mundo's unintentional help, they figure out who is supplying these dangerous chemicals (unless it was stated somewhere else or if it will be stated in the new series) as well as figure out a preventative "cure" that can momentarily reverse the effect of the drug.

So here's my theory, Mundo is somehow connected to the void experiments that I think will be in Arcane, becuse of his passive. In game his passive is has the exact same effect as Malzahar's passive, although it's different to make him more tanky. There is also the fact that he has a lot more purple things, like the two canisters on his shoulder. If the theory about Jinx getting purple eyes and going crazy being a direct result of experiment with the void, then mundo losing his mind and having a purple body should also be from simlar experiments. This could explain why they didn't change much to the backstory, because they will show what exactly happened to turn him into the purple hulking beast. I posted this in the skin spotlight's video, before to try to say this as soon as possible.

A cool twist could be, that mundo finds jinx. But jinx is so insane that she looks already cured to mundo

It sort of did mention his arm augments popping off in his bio when his old boss shot him. The shot would be kinda like a cc (or at least a slow) which mundo looked at him, noticed something popped off of him, put it back on his body, and chucked the guy onto the gorney. Atleast that was how i invisioned it when ya told it. Riot is doing well on the updates of the old chars. Now just gotta give my man Cho'Gath some love.

Not EVERY story needs a mystery okay. Especially like they used to give it to champions in the old lore, aka "this random person appeared out of nowhere and now is destroying everything because we want them to" Mundo's new story focuses more on giving him a reason for acting the way he does, and making us pity the guy even though he murders people, and I think it's dope. They literally made him one of my favourite champions he's strangely... adorable 🥺💞

A cool way to explain how he turned from a human to Mundo would be doctors notes about the experiments they did on him. There they also could explain what the things on his shoulders are

In regards to the Arcane series and Mundo: As far as I know, we dont know when Mundos story happens. So he might have been the or one of the first to be subjected to this purpel stuff . And the Doctors who saw the result, before the got healed, might have given the data to ArcanaMcEvilGuy and he thought: "Buff and stupid works for me " and keeped going.

also, a neat touch in the corporate mundo splash art is that the profit chart he has is turned upside down so that its going up instead of very very down.

9:05 my theory is this canister hold the same or similar chemical to one in arcane. Maybe we get more explanation to the chemical since it contaminated/infected jinx too. Old jinx had no purple eye, but the loose canon does.

I think the augments Mundo has are part of his whole mystery bit you said he has. And I wonder if the purple chemicals have some ties to Icathia and/or the void. I hope that in the Arcane series they leave more mysteries than answers, though. It would be more interesting for a while if it gives vague answers to what we know about the world of Zaun.

I find it interesting how the bio mentions stepping on toes, and then the splash art actually has toes in it.

The chem tanks are Mundo's healy juice, he surprisingly knows that it helps him (in a way he probably doesn't understand) and knows to use alot of it in a pinch which is his ult.

My theory will be that mundo might show up in Arcane. Based on his new eyes, the colour and the appearances of both in the Arcane trailer. Also purple being associated with the void could very well be brought up again, perhaps a chemical made from voidborn flesh is what is giving mundo the enormous strength but the pain of barely surviving void corruption blanked his mind over the several months of testing. O. I just got to the part of the video where you said the same thing.

Man I love the darker tone that Mundo took! I really respect that bit of body horror at the end of his short story, and I don't mean that lightly. It gives him the feel of a character who is "silly if he wasn't so terrifying" which is exactly what Mundo should be imo. He still retains that comedy (some of his new voice lines genuinely made me laugh) but it's clear that in-game he isn't meant to be a joke. He's now truly a mutated monster, not the ha ha funny purple Hulk who walks at your ADC and burns them to death.

Jinx may have been experimented on to become deranged. The colour purple.... Probably a form of void essence from the void, hence the 'madness' effect on humans. As seen from trailer, Dr Mundo and Jinx. 🤔

I think Mundo may be related to the arcane series. He seems to be crazy from drinking that same purple “stuff” that is theorized to have made Jinx crazy. Mundo’s old boss might even be the villain from the Arcane series.

about the canisters actually it makes sense that he pick it up cuz he says whats better than old pain new pain which explains that when the canisters fall he will pick it up and put it back in his body

I think it would be cool if Mundo became singed’s assistant. In Mundo’s eyes singed would look like another doctor doing similar cures, since singed’s experiments are so extreme. Singed might also want to experiment on Mundo which would help explain some of the more science stuff of Mundo like his passive ult and electricity. Mundo’s passive is also similar to Warwick after all. I know that this is unlikely and kinda silly

Head canon, but I believe Mundo's purple canisters are responsible for the energy created by his Heart Zapper (W spell) - which is likely to be electrical torture that the Asylum had outfitted on him. But as Mundo got more resilient, he just assumed the electrical stuff was part of his wellbeing.

Idk about the lore not having any chance for moving forward. Yeah, now we know he was experimented on, but we don't know in which ways and by who. Looks like void goop on his canisters, maybe it'll have something to do with the villians in the Arcane series, and it may lead to what they were hoping to achieve by messing around with that power.

Honestly love this new story. The old one felt lazy. Also show more about chem barons kind of, so hopefully another story down the road for this poor guy

I would like to see like split seconds when mundo remembers his old self and is horrified but then just as quickly forgets and goes back to beeing good ol murderous, helpful in his own mind doc
