It's often said that you buy a surface for the feel. I could have gotten a much higher-spec laptop compared to the laptop go 2, but the feel and user experience of these surface products are phenomenal, a characteristic I find more important. It's subjective, of course

There's always a big premium to pay for better finish, material, design etc. Same w Razer, MscBooks and top Samsung items. So what I do is buy the top end CPU/GPU combo in like-new condition when they're like a yr old. Save mucho moneyz 🤑

Same keyboard goes with their 14.5 inch counterpart , the surface studio 2. With no dedicated Home, End, PgUp, PgDn keys.

Low end Surface Go 3 still have 4GB ram. It should be illegal selling Windows laptops with less than 8 GB.

“MacBook Retina” in 2016/2017 was a 12”, and people liked the size, but the keyboard was awful. TBH the 13” M1/M2’s are less than an inch bigger width wise, and seems perfect for most

@@nathan.d.c I agree. This comment in no way has an apple bias. There are also plenty of windows computers that are cheaper that outperform this device. Idk I feel like the surface products are overpriced for what they offer and that there tend to be better alternatives.

@kassperplus that's a good point. Although I prefer my tablet for reading and watching content on the couch anyways so it would still get use. Also I love using it as a second display with my desktop so when I get a laptop I can use it for that too.

I’m in the market for a small laptop. I MISS small portables and netbooks and they are incredibly rare these days. My favorite laptop ever was the 11 inch MacBook Air. Those were the days. Technology was innovative, competitive, and some of it even aesthetically pleasing. I think I’m going to lunge for one of these 14 inchers. I just need to trace out how it can handle certain workloads but man would this be great if manufacturers started making niche designs instead of sticking to the yoy bland bs.

Bought a Yoga 7i 14 2-in-1 for $750 on sale. I can't really see a reason to go for this over the Yoga. i7-1355U, 16 Gigs DDR5, and a 512 Gig SSD. This laptop looks nowhere near as good.

I own the Go 2 with i5 and 8 gigs of RAM. If you're a power user like me, you will passionately hate it, because of how slow it is. Not worth the price.

can you please help me? i have one of the surface go’s idk which number but when i open it the corners of the screen on the bottom have broken and it peels the screen back everytime i open and it does not close right and has sort of a pushed back top screen when shut and i did not treat the computer bad at all can i please have some insight on why this is happened

What I dont understand is that everyone is piping their humongous phones with screens >6" and closer to 7", but their laptops need to be small and "portable"? as in what is portable, if it suits in a backpack its portable for a laptop - for a phone, if it suits your pantspocket its portable, yet these phones arent, but our laptops need to be??
