Ha. This Quest is in my garage. I got it from some guy in Portland. Since owning it I've fixed damn near everything except the speed sensor. For being a big ass hog of a quad, it down right hauls ass and doesn't do to bad in deep snow.

Looks like alot of fun!!! I can see trips to central Oregon, riding off road with the truck and the quad. Don't forget to give your truck some attention now and then. LOL

these are known to be hard to shift when not moving. Even from brand new one thing I do is set the idle low and this will make it easy to shift

You can take the cvt clutches apart and clean them to get everything moving freely again. Replacing them is stupid expensive.

I know this is an old post; This 'quad' was a testbed for the front viscolok differential. I'll give them credit, that differential is still in service today on much bigger even UTV quads. And, when this thing was running, was practically unstoppable. It wasn't much fun. Too heavy. But when it came to climbing hills or going places no other quad at the time could go it was top notch. It constantly broke stuff, though. From electronics to wheel bearings nothing But that front diff was safe LOL. The back firing was so embarrasing. If memory serves, it was considered an 'Expedition Class' ATV and it lived up to that class.

when you get a set of ramps try to find a set that you can easily hook up a ratchet strap from your bumper to the bottom of the ramps, it prevents the ramps from shooting out when you drive up the ramp.

could use a temp controlled relay for the fan with an override on/off switch. that way it will warm up to whatever temp you set the controller for and then the fan will kick on but if you want it on right away you can just hit the switch.

I have a Traxter 500, almost the same thing. Solid machine... Just replaced the computer in mine,$900 later (part only)

It looks like It could get a lift in the front

Im thinking of buying one of these with a plow and 2100 miles on it for 1800 is that decent? Its an 2004

Are the front shocks gone or just collapsed?

Roltax would be a Artic Cat engine, i think...
