I am a cadet in CAP and I must say it is an absolutely incredible program that has done wonders for my development into a confident team member, leader, and person in general. I have learned so much through CAP including what I want to do with my life (cybersecurity.

The Civil Air Patrol was founded in 1941, and the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program was founded in 1942

Yah I don’t know how they got the idea that it was new. Maybe that particular squadron is new but the program definitely isn’t.
