Unless I have alot of weapons and cameras and cell phones,and walkie talkies and the CB radio.and flash lights everywhere and motion detector lights outside all over the house and trees ,so I can have somebody tries to approach we see them ...

Original Title: The Night They Knocked (2019) Genre: Horror / Thriller IMDB Rate: ⭐️3.9 Taglines: They Are Outside. They Are Watching. They Are Waiting. This movie starts off pretty slow (nothing much happens for 45 min.) but once it gets going it's truly disturbing. Frightening in many parts and the production values are good. The acting was hit and miss but that's to be expected in these types of movies. The only thing that hurts this movie is the abrupt ending which... well, I won't give anything away. Overall, decent but needed another ten minutes in the finale to really finish the film on a better note🤷‍♂️.

Well done throughout. The brothers sticking together was great. I was surprised by how many evil ones their were, but actually worked. The cliffhanger ending really caught me! This movie was an excellent blend of "The Strangers" and "Funny Games".

I have seen this movie several times and it is absolutely worth the watch for the first time. The ending could have been expanded with the two brothers escaping the grounds of that house.

Really you couldn't see anything for a good portion of it. The actors are supposed to be in the dark, the audience paid to see their predicament, not to be part of it. They spent so much time on wasted shots where they could've enhanced the tension visually. With the saved time, who knows, they might've had enough film left to make a proper ending or Indeed, just an ending. I give this film an Oscar, of stinkweed.

This was a great movie. I keep wondering what it would have been like with a huge budget. Mostly well acted. Script could have benefited from a few touch ups from other writers. Storyline was fantastic. Mixed emotions on the cliffhanger ending though. Overall, I enjoyed this movie. One of the best of this genre I've seen on youtube. Thanks for posting it and for entertaining me for an hour and 18 minutes.

Arn't u able to use yor imagination ?..That's why some great movies film in the dark..to add ambience, atmosphere & enhance the experience of what's happening, when it's happening, where it's happening ! Not evrythng happens in the wonderful sunlight ! They HAFTO film at a time when somthngs actually hapen ! Most crimes & hauntings hapen at night, it's dark when it's raining .We have dark when the sun is in & light when the sun is up ! Why don't u try watching the Brady Bunch - they have great lighting there everywhere ALL the TIME ! .😊

Good movie in general. One thing I always see in horror movies (like this one) is, when you hear a strange noise, or you even think there might be somebody in your house, why does everybody just go looking with a panic face instead of going through the house with a goooood weapon??? What is the plan? Maybe:" If you are a killer would you please leave the house and kill my neighbor instead?" That would be nice or "could you wait here and don´t move? I would like to see, if I can find my grandfathers shotgun"!??!!

I think the sequel would be titled: "The Day They Knitted". Because there are too many holes in the story. Is this like the Tate-LaBianca murders by the Charles Manson cult? but they didn't provide any background story.

The movie was okay, I just wish there was more plot as to introducing Jess’s pregnancy but never addressing or the ending….the plot was there just needed more story line
