🎙️ Killing the rooster🐓 was absolutely inappropriate. Such an action doesn't suit especially to a standard of a Brahmin, who is considered to be wise enough on the earth. Freeing the rooster also was a good option to get rid of him, but killing was the very sinful act. And all this was because Brahmin allowed the anger and frustration overpower him due to the rooster's act. It would have been so wise if Brahmin would have done self enquiry that, "It's alright what rooster is doing. But what's there within me that's causing my suffering? Is there a way to eliminate that suffering from within me by taking 100% responsibility instead of claiming rooster as responsible for my suffering." If Brahmin would have done self enquiry, moral of the story would have been different. Thus, it is so essential to meditate everyday that helps to take a pause, reflect and then move in the direction of taking an appropriate action or many a times absolutely no need for any action. And yes, background music is absolutely mystical. Great work team👍 Thank you for the Jataka tale.✍️
